For Canadian MSEA players...

To start things of, I am completely aware of the fact that the further you live from singapore, the more lag you get. This is not a thread complaining about the lag either. For all those who live in Canada, namely Ontario and are active on MSEA, how do you deal with the pickup lag? Other than buying a pet, is there any other solution? Again, let's not argue that i'm complaining, because this is only a question. I recently started MSEA and i can deal with the slight kill and potion lag, but I'm just wondering if there was a solution to the pickup lag.

Move to SEA, get an epicomghax internet, or buy a pet.

Just play Global in that case. The only reason I see to start SEA over Global now is Aran.. which will be fixed Dec. 9.

MSEA players seem to think Asiasoft is worse than Nexon, apparently.

I'm from BC but anyway... get a Pet, or play a character that isn't too meso needy, like a Priest. On good days, the lag is not very noticeable though.

Looks like leeching is going to be patched in MSEA. The people who literally leech off of everyone is going to rage over the patching of leeching.

Yeah Asiasoft is great, until they leak all your account information and someone hacks you through no fault of your own.

The pick and pot lag is very noticable. Everything else is fine though.

No easy solution to lag when playing a version you're not "supposed" to.

Unless you move to Singapore, of course. That solves everything.

The MSEA mass account hacking epidemics in the past are one reason to view Asiasoft as worse than Nexon for the MSEA players, does anyone recall the "we were under attack from Chinese hackers from China" thing? I placed the article in a spoiler for the sake of convenience. They've had server problems, hacking, the rankings were taken down (because hackers were getting account info through them somehow), and more. GMs were even getting hacked.

And who recalls the "Newcomer Reward Event" that was mass abused for BILLIONS of mesos because of simply getting to level 10? AsiaSoft's response was monitoring transactions and simply banning people who had a lot of money, some of the glitch abusers were left totally untouched and many innocent people were banned.

Even now, AsiaSoft still has pretty bad problems with managing the game, despite being somewhat faster than MapleGlobal with updating the game. They may actually be even WORSE than Nexon America.

But anyways: the only three options to fix this pick up lag is getting a pet, moving to SEA, or just moving to Global.

IIRC, I still got pick up and pot lag in JMS.

I think they're both awful.
But nexon is a bit less worse than asiasoft, you can see that by all the changes they make to the game (wtp 12k cash sok's, cash equips with w.att, 3x exp coupon wow triple the fun!!1 and triple the greed)

I cant see how whiny gms players cant see that.

Well, as soon as november 18th comes along, i'm goig to try the new world and attempt to level an aran to 50. I think I have a lot of patience so hopefully I can handle it.
