[July 30 / Server Check] MapleStory

MapleStory will be going through a scheduled Server Check on Tuesday, July 29th, 2008.



This one involves the game servers, and it'll last for approximately 3 hours.

- Server : All Game Servers



- Time : Tuesday, July 29th, 10:00 pm ~ 1:00 am PDT

(Wednesday, July 30th, 5:00 am ~ 8:00 am GMT)



The website will be available during the Patch.

Yeah >=( One more week to brainstorm for my "secret project", lololo. Then again, seeing the time we got 4th job, Im kinda not surprised =X

Why are they doing another SC if they don't have more cash shop items to release?

For fun? Doesn't seem to be a lot of reasons to make a server check.

Server Checks aren't only done to release Cash Shop items. They also move characters, perform name changes, ban hackers, check on the general status of the servers, etc. They do a lot in that time.

I still think there will possibly be a Patch before next week, otherwise we are missing out on Week 6 of the Summer Events! lol

Wow I am thoroughly disappointed that this is a server check rather than a patch. One can only hope that we still get the patch this week, though they never do a server check right before a patch....

all will be forgiven if they fix the guild menu lag.

I am highly disappointed that this is a server check, I was hoping the patch would finally be at the 30th. God dammit, I should'nt believe in Nexon anymore, at all...

whats really crappy is that i have vacation from work that starts on thurs and goes through weds of next week so instead of the whole week to kick around in CWK i get only the last few days but then again they may do the SC just to ban those last few before the patch/check the status of the servers before the major upgrade later this week

only 1 good thing comes with a server check ... and thats more q&a and hints .... so ... i guess its bearable i was really hoping for masteria update on my bday which happens to be the 29th .

If I'm not mistaken, they can just ban people during the patch.

Remember when Nexon Japan announced system maintenance then did a surprise patch?

Not trying to get your hopes up or anything, but I really don't think you should be giving up your hopes either. I honestly won't be at all surprised no matter what happens, but I really don't like everyone automatically thinking it'll never happen now.

But really- I think Next week will be appropriate.
Closing off the Summer Stuff with CK will be awesome.
Really I would not be surprised if CK was the last BIG patch til January.
...
And a Surprise patch would not bother me- Since I have other stuff to do.
But man that would screw with the times.

Well, they did say during the e3 conference they would release it in early August...

Ban hackers? How does a Server Check do that?

Maybe, I'm misenterpreting this,but to me it looks like the server check ends at 1:00 AM(I would capitalize AM but it already is)tomorrow. that would still leave us time for a large patch. (pirates, anyone?)
