I know many of you are wonder what this is all about, so I'll explain it to ya all.
The WW Alliance is a group in MapleStory that is working to get unrecognized hats and shoes such as Old Wisconsins and Whitebottoms the exposure that they deserve! So how did they become unrecognized, well, let's find out.
Many many moons ago, when BETA was in full swing for MapleStory, there was a group of people called the Old Wisconsin gang. They're a group of maplers who proudly show off their Old Wisconsin hats, an orange colored hat that provides ear and hair comfort and support from the elements and from Smega spammers.
The whitebottom shoes were a line of simple, one-size-fits-all shoes made and sold by some old dude up in an attic in the Henesys weapon shop. Although the location was undesirable, as his facial features; this man managed to sell over 1 million whitebottoms to many fine Maplers everywhere. So popular were they that he made them in orange just to fit the warm and comfortable feeling you get from a wisconsin hat.
Now zooming to the near future, the wisconsins met their first rival, the bandanas. The bandanas managed to push the wisconsins out of favor with their wide variety of colors and stats. Even though wisconsins were also made in purple, blue, and black, the bandanas fulfilled the hat needs for wannabe gangsta dexterity-free sins and bandits everywhere. Even Wizet joined in the bandana rage with them adding their signature maple leaf to the bandana line.
While the bandanas were clobbering the Wisconsins out of favor, a shoe seller in the snow-covered town of El Nath made headlines with the induction of snowshoes. Made in four different colors, they were a godsend to the slippery grounds of the El Nath mountains, keeping people on their feet when fighting of waves and waves of zombies like the ones portrayed in Hollywood movies such as Shawn of the Dead. As a side effect, people also could tell other's specializations just by looking at their snowshoes. And so began an era where segregation by class was "That Thing You Do!".
As if these two products didn't hog the spotlight enough, deep inside the Dead Mines beyond the outskirts of El Nath, lays an 8-armed, venerable beast called Zakum. Coming out only with the calling of an Eye of Fire, Maplers have fought incarnation after incarnation of Zakum to get a special piece of headwear, the Zakum Helmet. Not only does it give Maplers statistics beyond human possibilities, it has also created demonic behavior in those who wear it, ranging from things such as instant gratification to making groups to to farm his incarnations to sell the helmets to people to spread this dark religion.
As Zakum Helmets controlled guilds and guilds full of Maplers, a shoe came to light with such demonic powers, the Facestompers. Although magicians manage to control and resist the addiction that resides from the FSs, others have fallen for it's feeling of strength, it's tough construction, and spikes that strike fear into others.
So, our purpose at the WW Alliance is to drive the demonic addictions out of Maplers due to the frenzied demons that live in the Zakum Helmets and Facestompers. We're also devoted to reviving the Old Wisconsin gang, getting that old man proper recognition for Whitebottoms, and getting NEXON to finally give these products the Maple Leaf of Approval.
Membership to our group is simple. Just wear an Old Wisconsin hat of any color, and Whitebottom shoes of any color, or any of the items mentioned in our approved products list below. Anything else, especially the evil products mentioned above are signs of opposition to us.
