They actually beat it this time. But it's a little different from the previous video that was posted, so I don't know.

What is it with all those cloud foxes and racoons on the right? :f6:
I can't help thinking this video was extremely awesome.
EDIT: I think that Neo Tokyo damage is stupid, but that doesn't stop me from thinking this the best area released in MS at the time.

What i found odd was the racoons and lesser mobs on the right side. I'm guessing that's to help with seduce, but how did they get there...? The hat might be from a quest, like the scarlion/targa hats.

WOW, nice idea, using weak mobs as touch to avoid the boss's attacks
Do you think it will be effective in Pink Been phase 6?

The question still stands: "How did they get there?"

Easy. Theres items that allows them to summon Raccoons, Foxes and Crows. They spammed them like hell and used them as cover.

They had a good strategy especially with the Buccaneer just being used as mob control so that the heroes and Drks could deal DPS. Btw did the video skip at one point because she had 1/2 hp then all of a sudden it was like 1/8 left

Google Translate is wrong. It's not Sublate, it's just 'Aufheben.' http://excite.co.jp/world is a much better translator than Google's.
Also, I'm sure the hat is rare.

Lol, sublate could be considered right, but Aufheben is the literal (and probably right) translation. To quote the Aufheben Wiki page:
Wikipedia Wrote:Aufheben is a German word with several seemingly contradictory meanings, including "to lift up," "to abolish," or "to sublate." So yeah...like anyone cares. I prefer Aufheben anyways because it's the literal translation, and it sounds similar to Bergamot and Nibelung.

That boss is just so awesome. I love it! It's really cool how she summons that dark version of herself too. Crazy battle in that small room. I liked their strategy with the Buccaneer and summons.
Great music too!

I think this is a private server. O_o The Viper is level 123 and has 30k HP and 4.4k MP with HB... That seems like a farse to me. Either she has a pomegranate load of money at hand to HP wash with, or they performed this in a private server. They also didn't mention which server this was in, which makes it seem more like a private server. Also, she has no control at all... Look at what she's doing. Doing Screw Punch alone wouldn't get you into a party at all... >_>

Just wondering. Is Aufheben the final boss of Neo Tokyo?

Neo Tokyo's due for two more expansions if I've read the General Maplestory forum correctly, so I doubt that she's the final boss. I could picture more intense/damage-boosted boss fights anyway, so yeah.
That fight was pretty cool, it's just the JMS damage that makes it so... not worth it. I won't be headed to even Pink Bean for ages but I would really think three times before stepping foot in Neo Tokyo if/when we get it. Still, if the damage was nerfed, that would be considerably one of the cooler boss fights of Maple.

I care o.0
And the "official" english translation for aufheben is sublate, but that is a word you only ever use in sociology. It bascially means that every concept has two polar opposites to it (love and hate, good and evil, heaven and hell) which are equal in value to each other.
The problem with aufheben is when you translate it from german to english, it means "to cancel" and "to keep" at the same time (among many other concepts, like to uplift, which is the literal translation "auf=on,up" "heben=lift"), so someone came up with the idea to come up with sublate to explain this concept. But let's just call the boss Aufheben, since that's what the japanese call it :-P
Thanks for the link, that boss background music is beyond epic.
