but do you think german sounds scary when someone yells at you in german?

Its like...

"SIE DUMMES KLEINES ZICKLEIN, FUNGIEREN IHR ALTER!!!"

and you just look at them confused. Freaked out. But do you think being yelled at in any language you cant understand can be a lil shocking. what do you think.

The only time where I did freak out at someone doing this was when I saw that video of a German kid going crazy over a PC game, and slams his keyboard and breaks the keys off of it and such. (I think he was playing Unreal Tournament, but there has been many "fake" translations of what he was saying.)

#1) It will be mentioned sometime, so why not. The screaming german kid playing Ultimate Tournament or w/e will scare anyone if he yelled like that in front of you. However, it was staged, so saying something like that would be like developing a new stereotype.

#2) My fiance comes from a part German family, and their yelling is no different than others.

#3) My family yelling...rather even TALKING......it'll make you wish you never met me <.<

Anything in a different and fast language is frightening why they yell.
If they yell at you, you're basically getting yelled at without knowing why (if they speak in their national tounge).[/COLOR]

My grandma use to yell at me in Hebrew. Scared the pomegranate out of me when I was a kid. My mom's side is German and her grandparents would yell at me in German.

Anybody yelling at you in a foreign language is scary. D: Or at least, IMO, scarier than it would be in english.
