As most of you should know by now, the H1N1 has mutated into the L3E7. It has become a virus that controls peoples minds into hungering for human flesh. I'm very concerned for my own well being since I have heard news of the currently "dead" victims of the virus have broken out of their containment facility in mexico and are now terrorizing and infecting anyone they come accross. If not contained, the virus will completely spread throughout the world. What do you guys plan on doing to save yourselves? I don't own a shotgun yet so I'm not sure what kind of weapon I should use to protect myself. I'm thinking of traveling to alaska because every zombie movie in existence makes alaska the "last safe place in the world". I guess because antartica and the north pole aren't palin enough? I dunno. The world is ending soon and I don't know how I should spend the last few weeks of mankind.

Obviously a large paddle and a shovel are number one choices for weaponry. Look at the two guys here, they know what they are doing.

I talked to my doctor two days ago because I had my yearly medical exam. I asked him about swine flu because they were checking everyone entering the hospital for it. He asked me if I heard about it on the news, I told him I had briefly but I didn't really care, which is true, I hadn't given it any thought before.
"You're smarter than most of these idiots, then," is what he said to me. Swine flu has not been immunized against, but while it CAN be fatal, it also can be treated quite easily. In other words, this whole panic is just another ploy by the media to get ratings by driving the public completely insane. Past the year 2000, crime in America decreased a lot, but media coverage of existing crime increased by 400%, so we think there's a "crime wave." The media conglomerates should be shot. In the head. With a 12-gauge.

I got sick with the swine flu (from friend who is one of the confirmed 5 people in my state (in doral charter school)) and I recovered two days later. Immunity ftw.

Although you guys see it as a non-threat,
Many schools around me are being closed and I'm soso on the situation. xD Dallas has been out for 2 weeks supposedly, A school in my county but not ISD got closed for a week. 2 schools in my ISD are closed, maybe only one the second I need confirmed. (MPJH and McMeans) If one more in my ISD is hit, then they are closing all supposedly. This is all info I've heard passed along from teacher to student and stuff. I'm sorta scared, sorta not. pook:ALSO, since closing would be state mandatory we would not be forced to make them up! Thank you TEA!

It's not really a big threat right now, but what most people around here are worrying about is that it may mutate into something really bad.

I love your doctor and would nothing more but to get a massive needle shoved through my arm from him.

You idiots, did you even read the thread starter's post? This freaking virus is going to kill us all! There's already 8 confirmed cases of it mutating into a zombie-like virus?
I'm not sure if I'm immune, but I'm definitely safe...for now. I might be able to grab an auto shotgun, if Left4Dead taught me anything.

Maybe we should do another Dihydrogen Monoxide scare campaign, only it's a virus instead >_>
Seriously, I think it'll work, considering the media has successfully scared the be-jebus out of everyone with figures such as "100 people have been infected and 1 person might die", imagine what would happen if we told them "100000 people have been infected, and it caused the death of 1500 people".

The media says zombies have taken over mexico already. I went to wal-mart to buy a shovel, but since everyone was panicking I just walked out with it.
