  • Once you have completed the quest above, you can enter through the gate in the Carcion: Temple of Tears to face Limbo head on.
  • You can battle Limbo in either Normal or Hard mode with a party of 1-3 players. Better watch the clock, as you have 30 minutes to defeat Limbo!

Explore the all-new Angler Company Epic Dungeon and uncover the secrets lurking in the deep. Join Senya Angler in her journey to find her missing brother, Cosim, lost somewhere in the depths!

  • Accept the ‘[Epic Dungeon] Angler Company’ quest by talking to Selazar located at Residential District in Odium.
    • Alternatively, select ‘Epic Dungeon: Angler Company’ in the Special Contents tab of the Maple Guide and click ‘Move’ to teleport directly to Selazar.
  • Upon completing the quest, speak to Selazar again to begin the Story Mode where you’ll play as Senya Angler.
    • Progress and completion are saved per character.
    • Once Story Mode is completed on one character, you can skip it for other characters within the same world.
  • After completing Story Mode, talk to Selazar to access the Angler Company dungeon.

  • Within a 1-hour time limit, complete 8 stages by defeating monsters and bypassing systems.
    • Charge the energy gauge to advance through the stages.

O Holy Fright Mini-Game

Requirement: Lv. 101 and above characters (Zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 2).

We must defend Maplemas from Fright, an invader from the outer spheres! Holly and Jolly are relying on us to help save Dark Maplemas from pesky present stealers.

  • Complete the quest '[Dark Maplemas] O Holy Fright' through the Event List.
  • After completing the quest, head over to Jolly and accept the ‘[Dark Maplemas] O Holy Fright’ quest to begin.
  • Stay on your toes! If you get hit with the barrage you will get damaged. Use your Shift and direction keys to fire at Fright.
    • Keep in mind that your skills will not be available during this mini-game.


  • There are 3 types of barrages that can cause damage:
    • Basic Barrage: Inflict 10% damage to your health.
    • Confusion: Causes your keyboard directions to invert.
    • Instant Kill Barrage: Inflicts 100% damage to your health.
  • Floor Explosion patterns can deal 10% of total HP when hit.
  • When you defeat Fright you will receive:

  • After completing the quest, head over to Jolly and accept the ‘[Dark Maplemas] Slay Ride’ quest to begin.
  • There are 3 lanes to maneuver from but be careful of oncoming tombstones and coffins! Use your arrow keys and spacebar to avoid the obstacles.


  • Collect letters to spell out “RIDE” to get a boost increase and become invincible
  • For every 10k meters you reach, you will receive:
    • Mighty Child Present Box (x2): Click here to view the possible reward items.
    • EXP Voucher (x200)
    • Ex:If you reach 24k meters, you will receive Mighty Child Present Box (x4) and Exp Voucher (x400).
    • You can claim the rewards from Holly in the event hub map.
    • Up to 50k meters can be reached every week. (No entry count limit before reaching it).

  • Before you get started, accept the ‘[Home] Decorate a Beautiful Maplemas House!' quest with a Lv. 61 and above character to begin the event.
  • Now you can accept the ‘[Home] Winter Is Here’ quest in the Event List to participate.
    • This quest can only be completed once per account within worlds.
    • Want to experience the quest with another character? Simply reset your quest progress using the 'Reset quest progress' option in the My Home UI and let the adventure begin again!
  • After completing the questline, you will be able to obtain holiday-themed furnishings.
  • This time, you can obtain a blueprint to expand your Maplemas Hut into a 3-story house by collecting 25 unique Maplemas furnishings.
    • Additional blueprints to change the appearance of the 3-story Maplemas Hut can be purchased from Kenneth's Blueprint Box using Querencia Coins.
    • Once you upgrade your home, you will unlock a chimney on the ground floor. Press the up-arrow key on the fireplace for a surprise!
  • In order to obtain special holiday-themed furnishings, you’ll be given an option to send your Caretaker shopping! You can select from the following:
    • Large Maplemas Furnishings Pack
      • Shopping time: 9 hours
      • Can obtain duplicates

Burning Express

Requirement: Lv. 101 and above characters (Zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 2).

Are you having that burning need to accelerate your daily MapleStory monster hunts? Let’s zoom through Burning Express to get you goin’!

  • Complete the ‘[Burning Express] Growth Acceleration’ quest from the Event List or the Maple Administrator NPC.
  • Head to your Event List and click on ‘Burning Express’ to check your progress with the event UI.


  • All you have to do is defeat 1,000 monsters daily (20 levels above or 20 levels below) and click on the ‘Check-In’ button through the event UI to complete that day’s check-in.
  • Don’t forget to click ‘Claim’ to receive the reward for the day!
    • Each account can check-in once a day, and the record of completed check-in is are shared by all characters within the account.
    • Daily check-in mission progression resets everyday at 12:00 AM UTC.
    • You can only claim these rewards if you have completed this alone. Party/Grouped players will not apply.
  • Did you miss out a day? No problem! You can use the Burning Pass to check in for any missing days.
    • The Burning Pass can be purchased with 3,000 Maple Points.

Champion Burning Double Up

Requirement: Lv. 101 and above characters who have completed the ‘[Champion Burning] Your Champion and Mine’ quest (Zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 2).

Double it and give it to the next person? Let’s take it further - double the rewards for not just one but two characters at once! Set one character as your Leader and empower your other characters at the same time!

  • Select ‘Champion Burning’ from the Event List and click ‘Participate’ to start the Champion Burning Double Up event.
    • Alternatively, accept the ‘[Champion Burning] Your Champion and Mine’ quest by talking to Dame Appropriation..
  • Participation is limited to one world per account, so choose wisely!
Designating Characters

  • Open the Champion Burning UI and press the ‘Designate’ button.
  • The first Champion designated becomes the Leader, and 2 other characters can be designated as Champions.
    • The Leader can be changed once a week from your designated Champions.
    • When switching Leaders, any unused Double Up EXP Points from the current Leader will be lost.


  • Once designated, there will be a visual effect where Champions are following the Leader. The effect activates automatically when changing maps or logging back in.
    • This effect can be toggled on/off through the Skills UI in the Beginner’s tab.


Note: If the Leader has World Leaped, a different character can be designated as the Leader in Burning World to participate in the event again.

Double Up EXP Points

  • When the Leader defeats monsters near their level (20 levels below and 20 levels above), the other Champions receive 1 Double Up EXP Point for every monster defeated.
    • Monster defeats only count when in a solo party or not in a party at all.
    • Monster defeats will count when summoning monsters with VIP Booster.
  • Double Up EXP Points are evenly distributed among the Champions, with a weekly cap of 100,000 points.
  • Log in as each Champion to claim and use the earned EXP points.
    • Double Up EXP Points can be used on Mega Burning, Tera Burning, and Hyper Burning characters.
Note: If the Leader has World Leaped and the remaining Champions in Burning World are not transferred, those Champions cannot use Double Up EXP Points or access the Double Up Coin Shop.

Double Up Coins

  • The Leader can complete Double Up check-ins to earn Double Up Coins by defeating 2,000 monsters near their level (20 levels above or 20 levels below).
    • Check-in 3 times a week, up to a total of 24 times.
    • Only the Leader can click the ‘Claim’ check-in button.
    • Monster defeats only count when in a solo party or not in a party at all.
  • For each check-in, all Champions receive 2,500 Double Up Coins.
    • Coins and purchases in the Double Up Coin Shop are saved for existing Champions but are not shared among characters.
  • Spend 3,000 Maple Points to use a Double Up Pass for missed check-in days.
    • All Champions will receive 2,500 Double Up Coins, for each Double Up Pass used.
Note: Double Up EXP Points and Double Up Check-in weekly records reset every Thursday at 12:00 AM UTC.

Hyper Burning characters are about to get even more support to get caught up into the action with the all new Item Burning system!

Requirements: Lv. 200 newly created Hyper Burning character and have completed the ‘A Greater Power’ quest. (Newly created Hyper Burning Zero character that has completed Story Quest Act 2).

  • Click on the Event Notifier or talk to the Administrator NPC located at the Event Hall and click the ‘Participate’ button.
  • Starting with the new Hyperburning Aran or Shade from the Blooming Moon event? You can apply the Item Burning to these characters for an even smoother leveling experience!
  • After completing the ‘[Item Burning] Leveling Equipment - A necessity for Challengers’ quest you will receive 8 types of Challenger Equipment for your Job in your inventory.
  • Equipment consists of the following:
    • Xenon characters receive a regular weapon instead of a Thief or Pirate exclusive weapon.
    • Zero characters receive 7 equipment pieces and do not receive a weapon.
    • Stats for each equipment are predetermined and are based on your character’s Job. Please note that restrictions apply for Scroll use, Star Force enhancement, Transfer Hammer, Bonus Stats resetting, and Potential resetting.
    • Challenger Weapon, Hat, Top, Bottom, Gloves, Shoes, Cape, and Shoulder Accessory.
  • Challenger Equipment will be enhanced by completing the following missions:

  • Characters who have completed the 6th Job Advancement are able to use the Sol Erda Fragments.
  • The Lv. 5 Sacred Symbol: Cernium can be claimed after completing the ‘A Divine Power’ quest.
  • If Open Advancement is performed, the relevant Job’s weapon will be distributed for replacement upon completion of the next mission after Open Advancement.
  • Fusion Anvil, Soul Collector, Soul, and Item Tag items are able to be used on Challenger equipment but will be reset when equipment growth is performed.

Zero to One Hundred

Requirements: Characters between Lv. 10 - Lv. 100. Zero characters cannot participate in the event. Burning characters can also participate.

  • Boost to Lv. 100 with 7 characters in no time with the return of Zero to One Hundred!
  • Accept the '[Zero to One Hundred] Accelerated Zero to One Hundred’ quest through the star event notifier on the left side of the screen or talk to Spiegelette located in Henesys, Nameless Town, and Cernium.
    • There will be a special Zero to One Hundred growth effect displayed on the character you designated in the character selection screen.
  • Characters designated for Zero to One Hundred can move to the hunting zone through the '[Zero to One Hundred] Move to the Leveling Acceleration Hunting Zone' quest in the star event notifier or by talking to Spiegelette.
  • In the hunting zone, you’ll defeat monsters that give accelerated EXP.
  • You can freely enter or exit the level acceleration hunting zone by talking to Spiegelette at any time during the event.
  • There will be different hunting zones depending on your level that you will automatically move to upon entering.
  • After reaching the level for the next hunting zone, you can move there by talking to Spiegelette within the current hunting zone.
  • After you reach Lv. 101, you will be automatically moved to the map you were in prior to entering the hunting zone.
  • Up to 7 characters per account can participate in the event.
    • The count is deducted after setting the character for Zero to One Hundred.
    • The count isn't restored even if the set character is deleted, and an additional selection can't be made that day.
    • You can only set one character a day.
  • Certain jobs must complete their early tutorials to move to the Zero to One Hundred level-accelerated hunting zone.
    • Cadena, Ark, and Illium cannot acquire EXP in level-accelerated hunting zones if they haven't completed their early tutorials.
  • Keep note that you cannot form parties with other characters within the hunting zone.
  • The Atmospheric Effect that is used in the hunting zone is applied.
  • EXP obtained from monsters in the hunting zone will have the EXP Boost buff effect applied.
  • Characters will have their own monsters summoned in the hunting zone and will not share monsters with other players.
  • You can still claim Level Achievement Rewards and special gifts even when reaching set levels outside the level-accelerated hunting zone.

Hyper Burning

Requirements: Characters that meet one of the below criteria.

  1. Characters who were newly created during the event period
  2. Existing Lv. 200 - 258 character (For Zero character, one must be Lv. 200 - 258 and must have completed Story Quest Act 2)
  • Designate one character as your Hyper Burning character and they’ll gain 2 additional levels for each level up from Lv. 11 to Lv. 260!
  • Check the ‘[Hyper Burning] Unlimited Growth! Hyper Burning!’ quest through the star event notifier.
  • One Hyper Burning character and One Blossoming by Moonshade Hyper Burning can be created per account during the event.
  • Hyper Burning character can be designated when creating a new character or from an existing Lv. 200 - 258 character.
    • When an existing character is set as Hyper Burning, the Level-Up Support rewards can be claimed. However, the level achievement rewards for levels already reached cannot be claimed.
  • Hyper Burning characters can gain 2 additional levels for each level up starting from Lv. 11 until 260.
    • Note: Only Typhoon Growth Potion, Magnificent Growth Potion, and Transcendent Growth Potion obtained from events that start after the maintenance can be used on Hyper Burning and Blossoming by Moonshade: Hyper Burning characters.
  • A new character created during the Hyper Burning event can either be Mega Burning (created in Burning World), Hyper Burning, or regular character.
    • All the types of Burning character that can be set in Burning World are displayed and you can press the [Set as Hyper Burning] button to create
    • Other worlds will show a selection window asking if you will set as Hyper Burning.
    • Clicking the [Cancel] or [No] buttons will create a regular character.
  • A flame effect will appear behind the character in the character selection window when set as Hyper Burning character. (Please note that it cannot be canceled after designating as a Hyper Burning character)
  • Reaching certain levels will grant you special rewards to help you progress.
    • Press the ‘Claim’ button at the bottom of the UI to get the reward.
    • You can get an even more enhanced level achievement reward in Burning World.
    • Hyper Burning characters can claim rewards through Hyper Burning UI whenever they meet certain conditions.
    • Level achievement rewards can be claimed once per account. You cannot claim it again even if you delete the character after claiming and create a new one.
    • Only characters who completed the 5th Job Advancement and the ‘A Greater Power’ quest can claim the Eternal Flame Title Coupon, Nodestone, and Infinite Flame Title Coupon rewards.
    • For an existing character that already has the Eternal Flame Ring, another one cannot be obtained from the Eternal Flame Ring Coupon.
    • ou cannot receive the Burning world reward and Interactive world reward under the same achievement conditions at the same time.
  • You can only obtain the symbol of the region you've completed the Arcane River and Grandis story quests, when you use the Select Sacred Symbol Selector Coupon.
  • Each region's Arcane Symbol reward can be claimed after completing the relevant region's Arcane Symbol quest.
  • If the Arcane Symbol was transferred by using Arcane Catalyst, the Unstable Arcane Symbol must be normalized first and then claim the level achievement reward (Lv. 5/Lv. 7 Arcane Symbol) to enhance it properly.
  • Existing Lv. 200 - 258 characters or existing Lv. 200 - 258 Zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 2 can be set as a Hyper Burning character by pressing the [Set as Hyper Burning] button on the right of the character selection window.
    • If you create the Zero character as Hyper Burning, you will not receive the 1+2 level up benefit until Lv. 100 - 199.
    • You cannot claim the event reward if you created Zero character as the Hyper Burning character, until you have completed the Story Quest Act 2.
    • In the case of existing Lv. 200 - 258 Zero characters, Story Quest Act 2 must be completed to set the character as the Hyper Burning character.
    • Zero characters can claim the Level-Up Support rewards and level achievement rewards after they have completed Story Quest Act 2.
    • Zero characters cannot use the AbsoLab weapon, so they can only claim the Dominator Pendant from the selection of rewards when they reach Lv. 220.

Blossoming by Moonshade Hyper Burning

  • Create a new Aran or Shade character and designate it as a ‘Blossoming by Moonshade: Hyper Burning’ character.
    • If you do not have a character designated as a Hyper Burning yet, when creating an Aran or Shade, the Blossoming by Moonshade Hyper Burning will be applied first.
  • Existing Lv. 200 - 258 Aran/Shade characters can be set as Blossoming by Moonshade Hyper Burning by pressing the ‘Set as Hyper Burning’ button the the right side of the character selection window.

  • Blossoming by Moonshade Hyper Burning characters can earn two additional levels each time you gain a level up from Lv. 11 to Lv. 260!
    • Blossoming by Moonshade Hyper Burning characters can only use Typhoon Growth Potions, Magnificent Growth Potions, and Transcendent Growth Potions.
  • Blossoming by Moonshade Hyper Burning characters can unlock and claim rewards through the ‘Blossoming by Moonshade: Hyper Burning’ button in the star event notifier on the left side of the screen.
    • Characters leveling in Burning World can receive even more powerful Burning World rewards.
    • Level achievement rewards can be claimed once per account. You cannot claim it again even if you delete the character after claiming and create a new one.
    • Only characters who completed the 5th Job Advancement and the ‘A Greater Power’ quest can claim the Eternal Flame Title Coupon, Nodestone, and Infinite Flame Title Coupon rewards.
    • For an existing character that already has the Eternal Flame Ring, another of the same item cannot be obtained from the Eternal Flame Ring Coupon.
    • You cannot receive the Burning world reward and Interactive world reward under the same achievement conditions at the same time.
    • You can only obtain the symbol of the region you've completed the Arcane River and Grandis story quests, when you use the Select Arcane Symbol Selector Coupon.
    • Each region's Arcane Symbol reward can be claimed after completing the relevant region's Arcane Symbol quest.
    • If the Arcane Symbol was transferred by using Arcane Catalyst, the Unstable Arcane Symbol must be normalized first and then claim the level achievement reward (Lv. 5/Lv. 8 Arcane Symbol) to enhance it properly.
  • Both newly created and existing characters designated as Hyper Burning can claim the character creation reward.
    • The character creation reward can be claimed again if the Hyper Burning character is deleted and a new one is created.
  • Blossoming by Moonshade Hyper Burning characters will receive the same rewards listed in the Hyper Burning section.

  • Accept the ‘[Tera Blink] World Inside the Hat’ quest from the star event notifier on the left side of the screen or talk to NPC Spiegelmann located in Henesys or Nameless Town.
  • After completing the ‘[Tera Blink] World Inside the Hat’ quest, speak to NPC Spiegelmann to move to the map.
    • You can stay up to 40 minutes at one time in the event map.
    • You can freely enter and exit the event map by talking to NPC Spiegelmann.
    • All skill and buff effects given through the mission are collected and removed when you exit the event map.

Burning World

  • Get ready to ignite your summer with the return of Burning World!
  • Burning World is a world with special rules that exist only for the event duration, filled with boosts to help you power through the early levels.
  • Burning World is available for both NA and EU regions.
  • You can ONLY transfer to Interactive worlds and within your region.
  • All characters created in Burning World will receive a special ‘Burning’ skill which grants the following bonuses:
    • Burning: EXP +1.5x, Attack Power/Magic ATT +50, Damage against normal monsters +30%, Boss Damage +30%, Critical Rate +30%, Critical Damage +30%, Knockback Resistance +100%, STR/DEX/INT/LUK +50, MaxHP/MaxMP +2,500.
  • You can create a Zero character once you have a Lv. 100 and above character in Burning World.
  • After the Burning World event duration ends, up to 5 characters that are at least Lv. 150 will get to participate in the Burning World Leap. (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2)
  • Characters created in the Burning World, regardless of the ‘Burning’ effect status, can receive Character Creation Rewards via the ‘Burning World New Character Celebration!’ quest within the star event notifier on the left side of the screen.
    • Character Creation Rewards can be received up to 3 times, once per character.
    • If the character that claimed the Character Creation Rewards is deleted, it will still count towards the 3 times. Make sure to claim the rewards on the desired character!
  • You can also participate in the Hyper Burning event in Burning World. If you choose to do so, you cannot Hyper Burn a character in other worlds in that account.

Mega Burning Project

  • You can create up to 3 Mega Burning characters in Burning World. Additional characters can still be created to benefit from the ‘Burning’ skill but they cannot be given the Mega Burning effect.
    • You may use Character Slot Coupons obtained from Fairy Bros, Daily Gift, and event shops. However, the expanded slots will not be transferred when your characters participate in the Burning World Leap.
  • After creating a new character in the Burning World, you will be given the option to give it a ‘Burning’ effect.
    • You cannot go back to give it a ‘Burning’ effect after refusing to do so during character creation.
    • Zero characters cannot be selected as a ‘Burning’ character.
  • After your character reaches Lv. 10, they will begin to earn two additional levels every time your character levels up, all the way to Lv. 150.
  • On your Mega Burning character in Burning World, accept the ‘Mega Burning Project! Gift Giveaway!’ quest within the star event notifier to receive the Mega Burning Project Rewards. Reward details can be found in the lower section.
    • Mega Burning Project Rewards can be claimed up to 3 times, once per each Mega Burning character.
    • You can still receive the Mega Burning rewards if you delete the existing ‘Burning’ character and create a new ‘Burning’ character.

Burning World Leap

February 12 (after maintenance) - February 25 at 11:59 PM UTC

Requirement: Lv. 150 and above characters created in Burning World. (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

  • Once your Burning World journey ends, it’s time to find yourself a new home!
  • After maintenance, your characters will be moved to the Burning Leap Zone map where you can proceed with Burning World Leap by talking to Mover.
  • You can move up to 5 characters that meet the following requirements:
    • Your characters, regardless of whether they are a ‘Burning’ character or not, must be Lv. 150 and above to World Leap. (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2)
  • Characters can ONLY be transferred to Interactive worlds. You can only transfer within your region.
  • You may send your Burning World characters all to the same world, or different worlds.
  • You can move the character even if you don’t have an empty character slot in the world you chose.
    • If you have reached the max character limit in the world you chose, you will have to delete a character first and create an empty slot before moving your Burning World characters to that world.
    • If the world you chose has empty character slots, one of the open character slots will be used.
  • Your character must leave or disband their Guild before proceeding with World Leap.
    • When you talk to Mover, you will be given the option to Disband the Guild or the Alliance. You can also use the Guild UI to leave the Guild.
  • Your character's equipped items, inventory, and mesos will be transferred with your character.
  • Items in your Cash Shop Inventory, Storage, Auction House, and mail will not be transferred with the character. Please remember to move these items to your inventory before Burning World Leap.
  • Characters that don't transfer within the Burning World Leap period will be removed.
  • All mesos, items, and cash items owned by the character that didn't transfer will be removed.
  • The number of items that can be purchased per world will follow the criteria of the world you leap when you World Leap.
  • Backgrounds obtained through coupons are extracted and transferred with World Leap.
  • Legion Artifact Special Missions completed in Burning World remain completed after transferring with World Leap.
  • If you participated in but didn't complete Epic Dungeon in Burning World before leaping, you must reset your records and particpate again in the new world to claim rewards.

Gain EXP while you vibe on the side in the Tyrobot Playground!

  • Accept the ‘[Tyrobot Playground] Where Robots Play’ quest by talking to Jink located in Tirnog Interior.
    • Alternatively, accept the quest by clicking ‘Tyrobot Playground’ then ‘Participate’ within the Event UI located in the star icon on the left side of the screen.
  • Upon completing the quest, talk to Jink again to teleport to the Tyrobot Playground.
  • While in the Tyrobot Playground, receive EXP based on your level every 5 seconds
    • Lv. 289 and above characters receive the same amount of EXP obtained at Lv. 289.


Otherworldly Sun

  • Charge the Otherworldly Sun with an Otherworldly Sun Generator while in the Tyrobot Playground to obtain even more EXP.
    • Otherworldly Sun Generators can be earned by completing the Basic Draft of Blueprints for Tirnog.
    • Each generator extends the sun’s duration by 30 minutes.


  • The Otherworldly Sun charge time is shared among all characters in the same account and only decreases while in the Tyrobot Playground.
    • The time left will not decrease when you leave the game.
  • Purchase additional charges that charge for an hour, up to 12 times a week per account for 3,000 Maple Points.
    • Weekly charge limits resets every Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC.
  • Speak to Jink in Tyrobot Playground to check the remaining time and charge the Otherworldly Sun.
Note: The effect is only active during the event. Any remaining charges will not apply after the event ends.

  • Accept the ‘[Crack Expedition] Dimensional Crack Expedition’ quest by talking to Timmy located in Tirnog Interior.
    • Alternatively, accept the quest by clicking ‘Dimensional Crack Expedition’ then ‘Participate’ within the Event UI located in the star icon on the left side of the screen.
  • Upon completing the quest, open the Dimensional Crack Expedition UI to check your progress throughout the event.


  • Defeat 1,000 monsters within your level range (20 levels below and 20 levels above) to recruit 2 tyrobots for the expedition.
    • Monster defeats only count when in a solo party or not in a party at all.
    • Expeditions can be completed once a day, up to 5 times a week per account.
  • Weekly Dimensional Crack Expeditions resets every Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC.
  • Choose either Yellow Fuel or Red Fuel for your tyrobots during their expedition.

    • Missed days do not accumulate daily at reset. Instead they will be available for purchase after reset on Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC.
  • Advanced Research Rewards can be claimed only once per account.

Preserving Secret Records

Requirement: Lv. 200 and above characters who have completed the 5th Job Advancement and the ‘[Book of Forgotten Festival] Forgotten Festival from Memory ’ quest (Zero characters that completed Story Quest Act 2).

  • Accept the ‘[Secret Record Reclamation] Will’s Suggestion’ quest by talking to Will located at History’s Origin.
    • You can also select the ‘Preserving Secret Records’ button from the event list and click the ‘Participate’ button to accept the quest.
  • Move to the ‘Preserving Secret Records Entrance’ preparation area by talking to Will again. You’ll have 2 minutes to buff up.
    • All buff effects will be removed upon entry. However, buff effects will remain when entering from the exit map if you want to challenge Memory Devourers again.
Note: There is an entry requirement to complete one Advanced Research each week to participate in the Preserving Secret Records event. Once you complete a total of 21 Advanced Researches, the entry requirement will be removed, and you can participate without completing an Advanced Research.

  • When ready, talk to Will again to move to the ‘Preserving Secret Records’ map to attack Memory Devourers and deal as much damage as you can to earn points within 2 minutes.
    • There are a total of 7 stages, with HP and defense increasing as you progress through the stages.
    • You can earn up to 2,050 points.
    • If you exit during the battle, your points will reset.

  • You’ll automatically be moved to the exit map once either time is up or you reach 2,050 points.
  • Talk to Will to receive EXP, Secret Records, and Extra Secret Records based on your score.
    • The EXP you claim will scale proportionally to your level.
    • From 1- 2000 points, you will earn 1 Secret Records for every point.
    • From 2,001 - 2,050 points, you will earn 1 Extra Secret Records for every point.
    • EXP can only be claimed once a week for characters Lv. 200 and above.
    • Secret Records and Extra SecretRecords can only be claimed once a week.

Note: If the same character challenges again within the week and scores higher points, you can obtain additional EXP and Secret Records reward, which is the difference from the previous record.

New Name Auction

Ready to trade names? Want to snag that perfect character name or sell your old one with Maple Points?

  • You can enter the New Name Auction by selecting 'New Name Auction' from the Event List and clicking ‘Participate’ or you can speak with Mr. Newname, located in major towns like Henesys.
  • You will be able to make transactions from Interactive and Heroic!
  • Completed trade history is stored until June 10 at 11:59 PM UTC. Names and Maple Points from sales that aren't claimed during the storage period will disappear so make sure you claim them before then!
  • You can have up to 5 character name transactions (selling or bidding).
  • Now, let’s start off by reviewing some major auction terms that you’ll need know before you begin!
Auction Terms

Description

Bid

The act of writing and entering the desired amount by one who wishes to purchase a character name for sale.

Minimum Bid

The desired price that the seller wrote when registering the character name.

Current Bid

The desired price the buyer enters by raising the bid by at least the minimum bid amount.

Successful Bid

The trade is completed if the bid submitted by the buyer is the highest amount at the end of the sale.

Failed Bid, Unsuccessful Bid

Your bid gets canceled because someone else made a successful bid with an amount higher than the 'Current Bid' that you entered.

Registration Deposit

The amount automatically deducted when you start selling character names, which is 5% of the minimum bid.

Name Change Fee

Amount paid to Mr. Newname when changing character names.


  • Now that you know the terminology, we can go over how to sell and bid on character names.
How to Sell Character Names:

  • Enter the New Name Auction and start by entering your desired bid, duration, and a new character name.
    • Please note that character names that have started selling cannot be canceled or changed midway.
    • The minimum bid starts at 50,000 Maple Points, and the registration deposit and name change fee are deducted at the time of registration.


  • You can keep tabs of your current sale of character names by clicking the [Selling] button in the ‘Your Trades’ tab.
  • When the character name sale is finished, you can check the results by clicking the [End Trade] button in the 'Your Trades' tab.
    • Transaction fees of 30% are deducted at the time of payment collection.
    • Registration deposits are refunded if the sale is successful.
    • If the registered character name was not sold, you can pay an additional registration deposit and re-list the name for sale or you can either return or claim your name back.
    • Name change fees are non-refundable regardless of whether the sale was successful or not.
    • You can claim your payment for the sold character name by clicking the [Collect] button in the ‘End Trade’ tab.
  • Character names that were won while the New Name Auction was open, cannot be re-sold during the event period.
How to Purchase Character Names:

  • Need to get a hold of that name? Head to the ‘New Name Auction’ UI and search for the character name you want in the search bar at the top left, or you can look through other name options from the ‘Character Names for Sale’ from the search tab.
  • Enter your desired bid amount and submit.
    • The bidding price must be increased by at least the minimum bid amount.
    • If your bid is unsuccessful, both the bid deposit and the name change fee will be refunded to you. Although, you will not be able to cancel after placing your bid.
    • You can keep tabs of your current character bids by clicking the [Bidding] button in the ‘Your Trades’ tab.
  • In the ‘Bidding’ tab, you can see the current highest bid for each available character name. If your bid is the highest, it will be labeled 'Highest Bid.' If another player bids higher, you can either increase your bid or back out.
  • If you have won the Highest Bid, you can claim the name in the ‘End Trade’ tab.
    • Upon claiming the character name, your currently logged-in character's name will be immediately updated. The previous name will be permanently removed.
    • After your name change, you'll have to wait a week before you can change your new name with Mr. Newname.
    • Please note that once the change is complete, you cannot restore your previous name.
Please note: The New Name Auction is unavailable in Burning World and character names that break the naming policy will have their transaction forcefully cancelled or changed. The name change fees and deposits will not be refunded. You can find other 'New Name Auction' related notes in the 'Please check all cautions' tab.

The Dark Ride: Ride or Die

Althea, an inspector of parallel worlds, calls upon you to investigate the schemes of the dastardly villain Kazax!

  • Click ‘[Ride Or Die] Mysterious Contact’ then ‘Participate’ within the star event notifier on the left side of the screen.
  • Upon accepting the quest, you will get teleported to the event map to meet Althea, someone who’s part of an organization that investigates multiversal anomalies between parallel worlds!
  • Face off against up to 6 bosses each week. Choose your difficulty level and how many challenges you want to take on.
  • There are three difficulties, once you choose your difficulty, the boss you will fight will be chosen at random:
    • Code B: Easy
    • Code A: Normal
    • Code S: Hard

    • You can set a total of 20 challenges you would like to take on, and when you have selected how many challenges you want, the challenges will be chosen at random. The following challenges are available for you to take on:

  • You have a total of 20 lives shared across all 6 bosses per week. If you use up all 20, you’re done for the week!
    • Utilize Practice Mode to scout out fights, and speak with Althea to adjust the difficulty level and number of challenges as needed.
  • The difficulty and number of challenges determine the base when defeating the 6 bosses, and the number of remaining lives affects the final score.
  • The Dark Ride: Ride or Die event resets Wednesday at 12:00 AM UTC

  • Kazax will appear alongside the boss and disrupt your fight by using skills that interfere with your fight by randomly using one of his skills at regular intervals.
Althea's Support

  • Althea is here to support you during the fights! Upon entering the boss map, you will receive the Althea’s Support skill, which can be charged up to Lv. 3 with support.
    • The higher the skill level is charged, the more powerful the effect will be!

  • The amount of support required to charge each level of the skill gauge is 150.
    • The object spawns at a random location every 30 seconds and disappears after a certain duration.
    • The skill gauge fills by 1 slot for every 15 support received.
    • Receive a small amount of support at regular intervals.
    • Receive a great amount of support when touching the summoned object.

  • Once the gauge is full, activate the skill by using the interact key. This will remove summoned enemies and some of the disruptions caused by Kazax.
Weekly Score Rewards

  • Each week, your final score will determine which Inspector's Supply Box and how many Kazax's Energy Fragments you'll receive.

  • You can obtain the following special items at a set probability when using Kazax Energy Fragments:
