Question about changing icon location on desktop?

So you know how when you save a file to your desktop in Windows it default put the icon on the top left and then makes its way down until it finds the next open spot?

Would any of you know how to change it so that the default starting position was instead the top right or bottom left or something like that? Thanks.

I don't think it's possible.
Also, why are you downloading things to your desktop? That tends to make things cluttered.
