My laptop is old and pretty beat up (cracked screen,no battery)
and is having trouble running things it served me well but now I need a new one.

Reason I'm considering this one is because its on sale at the moment.

Reason I'm not considering getting it is because my girlfriend's dad is a computer technition and says that AMD has become horrible in the last few years.

What I need it to run is

WoW ( going to try this out after all these years )

Yea AMD Processors have fallen behind these years, though that's not to say they're not cost effective anymore.

Though Acer the brand I don't have experience with and by reading/hearing/word of mouth they're not up there in quality. But that's just to show if you're patient you can find similar/better laptops with intel cpus for around the same price.
