Okay, since Butterfli thinks I need a little J-Pop in my life, I've decided to give it a whirl because... well... why the hell not.
Please, recommend away.

I listen to some of the Japanese music by Psycho le Cemu <3, Hyde, Flow, and of course Ayumi Hamasaki and Utada Hikaru (to name a few :D). I'm not very knowledgeable in Anime music though :(.

Don't listen to that Anime/Touhou pomegranate, because it's really just that... pomegranate! I don't really have any good ones, but some songs that I like are (these aren't exactly JPop, more like JRock) :

Not a huge fan of J-Pop either, though I admit I do listen to them at times. Here's some J-Pop / Rock songs I enjoy.

''Why'' makes me cry. I remember Crisis Core's ending and I go sad.
If you're interested in K-Pop or K-Rock I can recommend something also.

It really depends. I'd say try out some of the more popular artists first like Utada Hikaru or Ayumi Hamasaki. I think I'm more j-rock even though I listen to both.
Sakura Drops ~ Utada Hikaru

Now YUI is sorta debatable for doing both jpop and jrock. Here's a couple of songs. If you try and search her songs, you will get a lot of covers by people.

Ok, so after listening to everything here, I cried, it was horrible.
Best of luck Fiel, my greatest sympathies.
He did say to recommended J-Pop, now if it was other genres, like Metal, I'd pick something else. Also, if you think everyone else's selections are bad, why don't you pick something that's worthwhile? In either case, I doubt you sat down for a good hour and a half to listened to every one of these songs in the entire thread.
Can you guys spoiler your things or something? :U
