lol Friend referral event - the ability to falsify your "buddies"

This is just... the worst event ever. Let's go step by step as to why this is so terrible.
1. Encouraging people to download things onto other people's computers without their knowledge or permission.
2. Giving out your Nexon ID to these "friends", which they constantly and explicitly tell you to never do.
3. And you do all this for... 200 maple points? Do the event quest two times and you've gotten that much! 200 maple points isn't enough to even buy the cheapest thing in the CS, that's 300 NX!

I mean... god, it's like it was engineered to a high caliber of terribleness.

That's just...Terrible!

Aren't they happy of how many people already play MapleStory? :f6:

Maybe they just want to fill up the empty servers that currently are in MapleStory.. but they will fail because everyone will sign up on popular servers like Scania, Bera, or Khaini. XD

In other news, Demethos 2x is extended, and Froz is pissed he remade his Pirate on Khaini thinking the 2x on Demethos was only 2 weeks long.

Granted, with a laptop breaking not 24 hours ago, it doesn't really matter .

Wow, give your friends your Nexon ID? Then you would really have to trust the guy(s).

Well for 200 maplepoints, not really worth it, but i wonder if you simply uninstall maple then re-install if it would work? Maybe not, maybe it remembers which PC's it has be D/L on in the past.

Hardly, I have a college full of anime/game freaks, I could amass 50000 nx off this, easily.

This event is SUPERB.

I should note, that even though they'd do it, they wouldn't play this game anyway.

i get 10 or 25 cents nx cash a day from the thanksgiving event.
On a lighter note, maybe the day this event ends will be the Magatia patch

This 'event' is all around fail, why can't they ask for an IGN, and at least keep the 5.2k at lvl 20 thing... 200nx? what a reward!

WOW, to think that they didn't put in the pie event this year and have this... just wow.

I guess Nexon thinks the friend referral wasn't enough... They want more players to encourage them to buy NX for more profit in money

They are indirectly supporting the hacking of accounts.. I find this event really stupid and pointless..
