Project: Tower, An SP Community Project
#1
With the recent workings of the SP RPG I decided to do something a bit major while I work on that.

With this the SP RPG will be put to under priority and the new project, Project: Tower, will be put to full steam ahead with a physical team made up of South Perrians.

You may volunteer, but I will need actual proof you can do x. This will be kept secret from everyone except for the production team, and will be shown when we feel it is ready to show you guys a little taste.

So for now I need 11 people.

I will manage the whole sha-bang and some of the backbone of the story, work on maps, and develop things in there, but I alas need 10 people.

I need:
 • 1 Pixel Artist (Artist and Pixel artist are different make sure you pick one or the other, if you can fill both leave both)
 • 1/2 Coder(s) (Must have some experience in the Ruby 2/3 engine)
 • 1 Video Editor (You will work with me and the Lead Artist on the production of videos/Preview Videos/Promotions)
Leave me a pm or post here your own works. Applications will be open till I finish getting them. This is not a priority over your lives, you commit when you can during spare time. I won't demand your presence 24/7 but I expect you maybe 3 hours out of every 2 days or so.

We will communicate through skype and be able to have discussions there.

If you want to know more information just pm me.

Sure that would be lovely, because right now it's being a pain in the ass LOL.

An extra position has been added to the roster.

I can provide you some help with concept arts, sketches, non-pixel art and ideas for the story development itself if you need, man. :>

I suppose I could go for some playtesting, reporting bugs/glitches/whatever. The only proof of past experience would be your previous RPGs (though, there wasn't much testing involved, but meh).

Excitement.

If you both feel like you want to be in the group then I see no reason why not.

aslemn; You'd have to pick Artist or Lead Artist. One of those roles do need people filled in them =]

So, by what i could understand by that lead artist description, is it the one that deals more with the basic concepts, sketches and ideas of characters, places and features; then shares that with the other artists so the final result can be achieved alongside them (with the development of animations, frames, conversion into pixel based art, implementing and checking if everything suits the main purpose, etc.)?

I'd take that if it's the case. :O

I'm also wonderin' when we start doing things.

I assume playtesting is one of the last things, lol. Unless testing is done one area at a time.

I'm a little strained on time at the moment. Are you guys going to use Skype or something? Group think seems faster and easier to me if its done by voice or in person.

Best of luck to you guys.
