The Chronicles of Masteria [UPDATED 7/22/08]
Loose Wrote:Yeah, that's pretty weird.

350 Warriors, 200 Bowmen, 150 Thieves, 80 Magicians. A total of 680 players. I don't know if that may mean something, but to me, those numbers seem close to stat requirements for weapons. 340 STR to equip level 110 Warrior weapons, 150 DEX for level 110 Thief weapons, etc.

Maybe I'm over thinking and too excited. : P

I got 690 total.

Hmm, the Stat req is interesting.

I'ma google the numbers. Tongue

Ran them through a Hex->Ascii converter, and got:
??????????P

It's weird because "P" was the new element Fiel found in Pikachu. o_0

I bet it's the Pink Pikachu though.

The pink Pikachu is from the Temple of Time though. Anyway, I can't imagine how a Level 120 boss could take out that many 4th jobbers. Maybe you can't kill it until you meet some sort of requirement?

maybe it's a game of wits, and you have to 'outsmart' the boss, or it could be like the bot catching monsters. in order to kill it, you must drop certain items in certain places, in certain orders, like a combination of gq stage 1 and 3. oh god that'd be fun. and to mix it up a little, there a random items and random combinations... mehehehehehe

Here's something which hasn't occurred to us until now: What if the boss is not included in the 45-120? I mean, if I were to ask you what level the Mansion is, you would tell me 30-60, not 30-101. Same for El Nath, Ludi, etc. Typically for a single area, the boss is substantially higher than the highest leveled ordinary monster. The only place this doesn't really hold up is Aqua (Pianus being 110 and Cold Sharks being 102, not a huge difference.)

Then again, if this expansion is two areas (as I predict it will be, Crimsonwood and an as-of-yet-unnamed Ninja town, perhaps even more) then it could be that there are other bosses mixed in (for example, the end of the ninja area might have a level 80 boss [this is a random number], but Crimsonwood's would be much higher.) No one said there had to be just one boss.

Hey, Isaac, if you could group all the classes into one of the three groups in CWK, how would you do it? o.0

Example:
Night Lords in Ninja Clan

actually, there are 4 groups(seeing as though youre counting the ninjas) and they're already grouped... SC's:mages and warriors, WR's:thieves, and archers, BH's: all of them, ninja's: who knows(probably NL)

Oh, I knew that. XD

How many from each group are there against this Stomping thing.

I wonder if the bosshunters can kill it. ^_^;

She should send them! D:

Stormcasters are melee and magic: Warriors, Bandits and Magicians.
Windreavers are ranged: Bowmen and Assassins.
Bosshunters are all of them.

What I was thinking is, wouldn't it be awesome to get like a 2nd job (the ones above). You'd get skill points by doing quests, each skill point gets harder to earn. It would be cool if that 2nd job had only passive skills, like Bosshunters a skill that adds a certain percentage of HP (like 10% more HP), etc.

And... that's it.

iono o.O but shadowers don't seem to be in any group seeing as though they're not in WR's cuz those guy's are projectile users, and mixes could be possible(IE:30 arch mages in SC, 20 in BH and the rest in some unreleased group) so it's impossible to know. i bet nexon didn't think we'd investigate this much lol

EDIT: Loose, i don't think bandits are in any group(other than bosshunters) because in the itcg text when i gave john stuff to make me SCGs, he said the stormcasters were magic wielding warriors.

Nexon doesn't think at all.
They probably gave us some random ass numbers just so we'd be going crazy trying to figure out what they meant.

Weird that DKs and Bishops, the two classes omitted, are from the same group. o_0

I just noticed something:
"...pretty much everyone we sent after it..."

Doesn't that mean that there was some survivor? I dunno if it means anything.

So a Dragon Knight or Bishop survived.... :f6:
Why?

Even weirder, a 4th jobber would be a Dark Knight, and thus utilize Berserk, leaving him at even less HP. o__o (72% of his normal, Base HP before HB)

Maybe it has really high Avoid and is Holy weak? Holy Weak would be great for Paladins, but the avoid would kill them.

As the others stated, they are already pretty much divided along class lines. Ninjas don't have to be assassins though, I mean so far we've only seen one with a weapon and that one had a fairly long sword, which is neither thief class. Ninjas are not part of Crimsonwood, once again, so they don't have to be playing into the group rivalries.

Of course they don't think, that's why they've left us this trail of crumbs across the last 8 months. >_>

also, why would the numbers be so clean cut? unless he killed everyone, which he probably did, but they live in freaking NLC!!! can't they just stop by town, pick up a couple hundred thousand ginger ales and mana bulls (for the mages) and have mages spam ultimates? this is rp so no there is no lag
