Gunslinger Build (Lv. 10-200)
psychopat Wrote:While I'm not making a slinger, I'm fairly sure that you can't even use Flash Fist with a gun equipped. You can use the flipkick though, so I'm assuming it's better to go with that, regardless of how good it actually is.

I can test that out for ya on my 1st job brawler-to-be later today if ya want... I still have the gun & bullets they give when you advance at lvl 10.
Just like to point out that I tested it and you can Flash Fist with a gun... I'd still go for somersault though :-P

You just can't use Flash Fist with a flag, I believe.

after noticing somersault is always a stab, i strongly recommend maxing somersault FIRST and using common spears (red ski -> bamboo / fish -> pumpkin). for infighters its is more ridiculous. consider changing your build, gunslingers dont need and extra 9 acc/avoid for the training speed this grants.

if you dont believe me, ill be lvl 30 before you. Cool

There's a bunch of people who went the standard build and are already ahead of you Excellent.

1st job really isn't that hard to begin with. Yeah, Bullet Time isn't THAT useful, but it's better in the long run.

I'm already doing that, hence spearslinger.

I'm just having a bit of trouble coming up with a fish spear in a server I have no funds in.

Why invisible shot over Fake Shot? Is Invisible shot better or something?

Yes. Fake Shot is just for stun purposes.

If Fake Shot is just for stunning, would it be wise to only add 16 points into it, then jump to the next skill? Level 16 has the four seconds of stun, while the 88% chance of stun has about 1.5% chance of not stunning anything, 77% chance of getting two stuns (That's the skill max, right? Better be since that's what my math's based on D:<).
Only real draw back that I can see would be the slight chance of failure and lack of damage. Personally though, I'd rather have 4 SP than a guarantee stun, since lv 16 is so close.

Mah Maths, since I always goof and want someone to double check. xD

Also, your Credits lie.

so far in my second job i think to that fake shot is better then invis shot , i find it relatively hard to mob and have enough space in between me and the monsters for it to be vary useful to kill the monsters quickly. but that may be only since i have it at lvl 1 .

funded people like to go as fast as possible because they get bored with a lame job that has almost no differentiation from any other class. the fastest way to get thru it is therefore the best. ExcellentBiggrin

I, despite having numerous post here, haven't fallowed this build at all. First job was random, but I think it worked out the same. xD Atm, I have a point in every skill for 2nd job except the two I should: Mastery and Booster. xD
Anyway, point is I agree with you. ;o I've found myself making mobs a lot, and having to Dash ahead of them doesn't always work. I was considering getting Fake to level 4, where it's more likely to stun than not with a rate of 52%, then go mastery. Stunning with no min range is so easy to abuse and I look forward to using it. What damage? You mean the 1s you usually hit with it?

>_>

what would you use the points in? throwing bomb? personally I think a 100% stun rate is maybe just a little bit more important than an absolutely horrible skill that you'll never use.
