I was planning to get some extra NX with the Christmas money I plan on spending, this might be a nice bonus if I'm lucky.

It is a company, using methods to gain money in a dishonest way imo. Why? The chances to win a prize is incredibly slim, 1 to 100. That's a 1% chance. Also, I realize they're a business, as all businesses are, greedy pigs.

I believe all CODES entered starting today are pooled into a random generator designed to select a card out of every 100 and award the proper amount of NX. It should not matter where or when you buy the cards. And this is not a scam it is a marketing ploy just like auto companies giving 0% financing and the lottery like Claw suggested. Nexon is a company and must make money.

I'm not blaiming nexon for anything, I thought it was blaintantly obvious I was being sarcastic, I don't even buy cash cards they're overpriced in Canada vs paypal.
I don't see anyone going apepomegranate when McDonalds has the Monopoly game or any other company has any promotion of any kind... anyone who gets sucked into buying more than normal, it's their fault.

This looks like a good event, actually. It's not like the lottery because if you buy a card, you get your money's worth of NX and you have the small chance of getting double the NX or possibly even that 1,000,000!

Wow, 25 cents extra per $25 card.

I don't really see how it is a scam more of a bonus. If you are stupid enough to buy more nx cards than you need just encase you may win a prize or get double Nx then that is your problem.

Wait do the codes on the cards have the chances bound to them? If so should I wait for my store to restock on NX? They probably do it within a database, right?

Also, this is a pretty neat event, better odds than 1/100 would be nice, but oh well.

They select winners based on a generator that selects a CODE on a card, ANY CARD, then allocate the aforementioned product. DO NOT HARASS YOUR STORES FOR NX.

Also I think a 25$ card should've had a slightly better chance than a 10$ card, now ill probably just by 2 10$ cards instead of the 25$ I was going to buy, sure im out 5$, but I can manage, and it increases my odds by 50%
