I put a little sauce in with the noodles once i strain them to stop them from clumping and sticking together
and serve them like that, with sauce heated on the side, so that the people at the table can mix it however they want.

If I'm cooking for myself, I just mishmash everything together into one big sauce + pasta monster.
If it's for others, I'll put the sauce aside with a ladle so everyone can do it how they want, because everyone's a little picky peach about pasta.

Usually I heat up the sauce separately on the stove so I pour it on afterwards.

Poured on top when serving.
Because if you ever have leftovers, you know that noodles dont exactly freeze well and it kinda ruins the taste of the food.

Depends on which pasta you're serving... If you're serving spaghetti, the cream goes under the noodles and the red sauce poured on top. If it's ravioli, poured on top. If it's gnocchi if prefer it to be mixed. I dunno.

Poured on top while serving, but I'll mix it in afterward so it doesn't really matter.
Anyway, I usually eat fusilli. Or was it rotini? Whatever. |
