wait, does float work by pushing it once to activate or do you have to hold it down?

I think pushing it once would activate it since it does last for 5 seconds, according to the skill tables.

You press it once and your character will jump up then start to float till the skill runs out of time then they will just drop down like a normal character.

You can press Float again in midair. Look at the video posted a page back, and skip to when she uses Float in El Nath. That was about 10 seconds in midair without touching anything.

Anyone know how she did that thing with Throwing Bomb at 3:00? If it's possible to do that outside of Aqua, then maybe max Throwing Bomb isn't a bad idea. I planned on maxing it anyways, with leftover points from 3rd job.

I *think* that the water in Aqua Road slowed down the Bombs' descent, creating a huge explosion.

You still wont benefit from it. The damage it gives sucks.

JSing in 2nd is easy. It's harder in 3rd, so float is more "useful" then.

What I meant to say is that FSing seems infinitely better at pure speed than JSing is. Obviously, there are times when it isn't favorable to Float into monsters, but you can Recoil too if necessary. Like in that vid.

Honestly, if you're going to RFS (recoil float shot, so you float faster) through the map i'm reccomending you have decent speed (125%+) and max jump. The only place i can see it being useful is fairly long flat maps with small mobs though. (STDs) You'll probably end up hitting/floating over voodoos too.

Otherwise, it probably won't change your exp much.

Must watch. It's the first video that shows the power of maxed Battleship Torpedo. I'm considering altering the 4th job build to max it earlier after seeing this video.

Do gunslingers attack like assassins or archers, and when I say that I mean their jump-shooting?
