You're arguing over something you're ignorant of.
Hell.
KMS doesn't even have "hackers" like you guys. Just botters and like maybe a few dozen "exploiters".

It stops hackers because they can't just go remake an account as easily as nexon america. If nexon america was to do the same thing, I guarantee hackers would be down at least 80%.

Let me see If i understand you guys. Luxeraph's point is that If the KSSN was totally infallible then there wouldn't exist hackers at all, but since there are still hackers in KMS, there must be a way them and foreign players can get around generating fake KSSN numbers.
But I do see the other point on that the KSSN is a layer strong enough to discourage most players from even thinking about hacking and there are barely any real hackers in KMS.

From my understanding KMS just has botters, which really isn't hacking and I'm assuming aren't as easy to regulate.

Aren't botters threated the same way as hackers though? Like if you're proven to be botting, wouldn't you be perma banned aswell?

Botting is hacking, it's making maple accept a third party program doing stuff in your game. Why wouldn't it be hacking?

Because botters work within the limitations of the game, hackers change the rules completely.
It's possible to do both, but botting by itself is just having the computer play the game for you through some form of script, program, or hardware (coins in your keyboard holding down HS for example)
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

Well... you can "bot" by binding a skill to spacebar and putting something heavy on it and that wouldn't be a third party program.
just sayin

Well, it is in the limitations of the game that you have be in front of the computer to play it. The maple client [should be] is made so it won't allow you to have a program do it for you (and the 100 attacks limit is there for that reason too).

No, it's not. That's an artificial limit posed by Nexon, not a true limit.
The 100 attack limit, that is an actual limit of the game.
The operating system is the ultimate arbiter of what is or isn't illegal input.
It's not hacking to bot, because if you make the operating system send the game commands that's not modifying the behavior of the client itself in any way, or even the operating system. They're both doing exactly what they're supposed to do. One is sending commands, one is accepting commands. Botting is not hacking unless you have to create a bypass to do it, or unless you have your bot using a hack.
They're two absolutely distinct concepts regardless of how you feel about either.
It's the difference between putting a brick on your car's gas peddle so it drives itself and modding your car to have a jet engine and wings. The first does nothing whatsoever to change the fundamental nature of your car, it just operates it without a person. The second is a clear and undeniable change to the basic nature of the car.

inb4 Nexon requires that we install NexonOS to play any of their games.
<< If it were like Altimit Mine OS I would probably be okay with it.

In view of your definition, I stand corrected.
Though in some cases there is some sort of hacking so the client will not notice that there's 3rd party program running that's sending commands to the game. Though botting by itself is not necessarily hacking, they sometimes go together.

And I already said that.
If you really want to get technical, that's actually just botting on a cracked version of the software. If it's not doing anything but bypassing the security it's not really hacking the way maplers define it since it has no tangible results in game. Hacks are active, a crack is a passive mod. That's getting into it deeper than the average script kiddie can distinguish though, let alone most legits.
Back more on the original subject;

I really am enjoying Skyrim so far. It's as wide open as morrowind was, but more clear about your possible goals and quests and feels less oppressive than Oblivion did. You get the random apprehension every time you hear a dragon roaring or see one wheeling through the sky, wondering if it's going to come for you, or how you can go for it. It's one of the few games I'll play with audio on because of the depth of audible cues and inobtrusiveness of the background music and sounds.
And so far the clairvoyance spell is my favorite feature
