Great Bay Temple
#1
I've been playing through Majora's Mask over the past year or so as my first play through in over 10 years (I got to the Great Bay and then stopped playing for like a year, then I started it back up again today). Ugh. Annoying temple is annoying. ._. I had a really hard time with the stupid camera angle. The boss was really frustrating as well. >_> I don't remember how I beat that 10 years ago, but I had a hard time with it today. I beat it on one try, of course, but having to time putting on my mask the very millisecond after my arrow hit Gyorg's eye and then having to deal with Zora Link being slow as f'uck moving around in the water made me cringe so many times. I could've beaten it easier if Zora Link weren't such a snail. >_>

The theme of the temple reminds me of a certain theme from a certain game...

I also realized I haven't gotten any of the masks except the ones in the main quest (Zora mask, Goron Mask, Deku Mask, and Great Fairy Mask). I need to get on that, I suppose. ._. Tedious, tedious game.

I press B to sink and it takes like 5 seconds or longer to sink to the point where I can attack the damn armored fish. :X

God the first image I get in my head when MM is mentioned is that freaking cutscene when you pull off the Zora mask.
As a kid? That was freaking scary as HELL holy...

I seriously hope you didn't use melee attacks on that boss.

>Stun Gyorg
>Throw on mask and enter water
>Press A to start swimming
>Hold R and ZAP that b'itch repeatedly.

That's what I did, except swimming would've sent me the wrong way. Maybe I was going about it the wrong way, but I shot him with an arrow, put on the mask, then jumped in right above where he was, sank down, then attacked. Half of the time, he recovered before I could even attack.

You shouldn't have done that...

As you're describing it, it's exactly how supossed to be done. Did you try to use the electric shield while sinking above Gyorg? Its range is pretty good.

HATE this temple. I just hate dealing with adjusting water levels and all that ice platform hopping and ughughghgh don't like water temples in general.
Will always have that metal banging sound from the soundtrack imbedded into my brain forever.

Yeah, I tried that, but it didn't seem to want to hit it at all.

Honestly? That fucker gave me more chills than Resident Evils and Silent Hills combined.
