Sonic Adventure 2 was the fucking shit.

I spent hundreds of hours on it, just like any old Pokemon game. Hundreds. Hours. Hundreds of hours.

The way they did it makes perfect sense. They take original tunes and sample and remix them (they used the original track for city escape and just remixed the instrumental for the classic version above) While the modern versions are completely redone by Crush40 and Jun Senoue (the modern version of City escape is a cover by Crush40)

Personally I like the Modern version better. But since the official track hasn't be released yet, all the ones out there now are low quality and a shortened version of the full song.

Sonic Adventure 2 is the BEST Sonic game of all time, ALL TIME! (Especially the Nintendo Gamecube port.)

It definitely was. The most content, fun sonic and shadow levels, and the other levels... had some merit?

And this is especially exciting since it's the first game released since they re-released Sonic Adventure for the GC. Definitely did not. Nope.
