Then don't even comment about it. Racing is boring if you don't know what's involved in every single race. If we took your view on this, the only exciting race is Le Mans 24... or some WRC Prime in stadiums. I dunno.

Formula 1 level racing is pretty expensive, meaning they need actual sponsors, fans, etc. If they went virtual, they wouldn't need the big money and you may as well just do it yourself in a videogame... For about $400 you can get 80% of the way there, if you have $100,000 you could get a setup that's nearly indistinguishable from reality (a few racing teams have this, cause it's cheaper than practice in the real car).

Well its that or slowing the cars down (what F1 does) but taking in mind how Americans think (bigger is better and therefore faster is better) I don't think they will slow the cars down even if that makes the sport safer.

Let's make airplane activities and the such controlled remotely too! No, the human factor is really a big part of the issue. While we're at it, let's also ban or change the way motorbike racing is performed at the moment, that'd be a terrific idea.

That actually sounds cooler, too. They would be able to perform better tricks and stunts due to not having to worry about gravitational force, I don't know, collapsing their internal organs if they even tried certain things?
