I think the critical ring is better than the magical ring, here's a comparison Rainsforever did
for the wise man and crit ring:

The ring would be beneficial to all of the mages except f/p due to their low crit rate.

It is more beneficial to the BaM than he stated, as our base critical is 1.4-1.5. If they stack this would be excellent.

Knights of Virtue event seems really cool! Anybody knows what the "title" is you get at day 10? Something like a medal?

Honestly my favourite addition of the patch, I can finally beat the quest chain completely. ;_;

The higher level you are the less %EXP you lose?
Either that or the higher level you are the more %EXP you lose. But that would just be too dumdum even for Nexon, right? -.-

It means you lose exp based on your lvl and the lvl of the monster that killed you. Theres some chart somewhere but I forgot where it was

It's basically a little book that you recieve in your setup inventory and it shows up like a medal would under your name or guild, except it's above your character's head. The first one, slot wise, in your character inventory, after you've recieved one, is automatically on whenever you log in, and you can double click the book the turn the effect on or off.

Because logging for 4 days, for about 15 minutes each day, makes you worthy of a good prize...

Silly mr pirate pq man, you get a ton of pirate pieces per pq, not just one. I think it's something like your kills/10 in the pq= how many pirate pieces you get. (At least, thats how it's worked during chaos)

No, it's not I pretty much quit MapleStory for a while because how bad it is. 25m ea glove att scroll in Nova. Mesos used to cost 20 bucks per 1b now its for 8-9 bucks because the release of a public unnamed program. Not saying I buy Mesos ( because I do not ) but the price of mesos makes the price of everything else go up.

Now after this update, the mesos will be somewhat hard to obtain so expect some mass deflation... i want to see nx with the ratio of 1:10 again ...

except 90%+ of our mesos is recycled in the economy, not like a lot of people loot it anyways.

Only thing that excites me is the Neo City change and Rex's Hyena now obtainable without depending on the RNG Goddess's favor.

To prevent illicit actions using macro programs, when hunting monsters that have much lower levels, EXP obtained, mesos obtained and reward drop rates have been decreased.

Notifications

Quest notifications that appeared above your character's head have moved to the left side of the screen.
Different icons will be shown for different notification types.
Quests and events now have different icons (a light bulb and a star, respectively).
Other independent categories now have their own unique icons.

Regarding expiring Ward, I recall receiving 2x EXP cards from someone and it was still usable after one week of being neglected in my CS.
