According to the Comic on Nexon's site, Kyrin is the 'adopted' daughter of Athena who took off when she was young and was never seen again.

I don't remember the comic saying she was adopted. Athena was just her caretaker. Its just semantics tho.

Fact is, Kyrin has NO blood relation to Athena whatsoever.

One day Testonen set off for an adventure, so he gave his daughter to the Bowman Instructor at Henesys to look after her. Testonen died on his adventure, cause the Black Magician owned him. And Kyrin lived with Athena, and then ran away when she heard the news.
