Nexon Taking Action Against EE-Hacked Equips?
#1
I've heard of a mass amount of people over the last couple hours being banned, all of whom had equips that were hacked during the EE exploit. (Stonetooths, nisrocks, cravens, etc)

Has anyone else heard anything? I really hope this is true.

Maybe the KMS team is staying over to help out some other issues? We could only wish.

Heard a few Scanian's got banned. The ones that usually smega the equips flaunting it.

I'm not sure if it was due to EE-hacked equips since they're known to be involved with other types of activities.

Abit late (lol) but at least they finally did an action against these equips. Good job.

Most of the people owning these weapons are usually involved in other illegitimate activities anyway, so you can't say that the weapons are the cause.
I do know legit people with EE hacked weapons that they bought/were given to them, but most are not.

Please tell me you're joking. I can't believe you would consider someone who's hacked an EE hacked weapon as legit. Not that the "legit" title even matters anymore in this game, and I guess it's this way of thinking that's made it this way.

He's talking about people who obtained duped versions of the weapons through hackers or other methods.

The only people who got banned were Scanians who participated in the dupings.

I know who he's talking about. I'm saying these people aren't any more legit than the hackers who made the weapons.

If people want to spend 200$ USD or 20b mesos to get 50 more att on their craven, I could care less.
By your logic, all users of 27 att VSS, WS, or 50% scrolls are "illegit"
As long as they didn't use any illegal methods to obtain said weapons, I consider them legit.

Of course most users of 27att VSS and WS are "illegit". You can't argue the definition of the word. They gained an advantage by knowingly acquiring an item created by dishonest methods. It doesn't matter if they paid $10 or $500 for it. And I don't give a pomegranate if people do this either, but please don't try to pretend they're still legit.

I'm sure there are people out there that don't know whether equips they have purchased were a result of a hack/glitch whatever. I know there are some obvious ones but even equips that look 'normal' may have been duped.

Item's can also be accidently duped. I had given my friend a lollipop (because its 'fast' atk speed) for APQ sometime last year, server crashed, lollipop duplicated. Whoever has that now probably doesn't know its duped.

Anyway, everyone has a different definition of "legit".

Okay, I didn't think this thread would turn into a discussion about whether or not someone who has an equip is legit or not.

Like Locked said, I believe the bannings have to do with the mass crashings that were happening last week.

Either way, I'm glad the KMS team is there. Maybe we'll get some dang security updates that'll stop hackers.

Has nothing to do with having EE'd equips what so ever..

It's the group of guys that pretend that they "run" Scania. Most of which could care less that they got banned, since they own multiple sets of their gear, have literally millions of NX, and an endless supply of mesos. Most of them already smega'd that they would be back in a week or so on new chars.

Illegit is defined as breaking the ToS.
If I buy 27 att VSS from the mts, I am doing nothing that breaks the ToS, therefore I am not illegit.
