Weird rumor: Shielding Wards destroying equips

Mind=blown, as my programming logic tries to figure out how something could be unintentionally coded to do that - but still work right when the item in that spot in Use is a potion or w/e.

he says both his slots were used

basically:

ward (glitch 20%pass, slot consumed)
item gets ward effect (since it didn't blow up)
try 20%, fail, no slot consumed due to WS, no blown item thanks to ward effect
ward, ward effect activated.
20%
success.

in that order.

video put seems to say that no scrolls were used when it blew up though, ward wasn't used, and i think the count remained at 8 for dark scrolls, bad quality, can't say.

If things were that easy it would already have been done. I modded D2 for years and know how freaking simple something like that would be; I was able to do it offline and even tested it once on closed (it worked). Sure, that account immediately got BANNED, but I was expecting/hoping it would, it was a fodder account made specifically for that reason. On the CD key of someone I really didn't like. Man, teenagers sure are asses, thinking back at some of the things I did...LOL.

not to mention it "could" b happening right now, since hackers sometimes are so keen on keeping their aces secret, ex is this level exploit, which has been around for ages, but the how is only public now.

I didn't say it wasn't still happening, in fact, it probably is. I'm just glad they are keeping it to themselves and not releasing it to the public, god I hate people that release pomegranate like that to the public; it's specifically done to incite chaos, they don't profit at all from it, they just do it to watch some fireworks for about a week.

dunno if you saw the "latest news" in a certain site, but so much drama, they seem to do it mostly for the e-peen rather than chaos, "if HE is gonna charge for it and claim credits for something I found, imma just public it"

I cant confirm for sure that my 30% scrolls where in the same location as the ward.

Any way from what i know i asked the girl from the video what she did, she told me that she log a ticket and nexon still didn't replay to her (almost 2 month now)

She is a close friend of mine and this is what the video shows, she used the ward, when she clicked the white scroll prompt, one of the dark scrolls in the inventory was used, failed, destroyed the glove. She has no idea how the scroll was used, since you can see in the vid that she did not use it.

I bought 2 today, used em before buying EEs though. All went okay.
