No, not people misusing Shielding Wards having their equips destroyed by EE's or Dark scrolls.
These people claim the Ward itself, when dropped on an equip, destroyed it.

No screenshot/video proof and only two victims so far, so I'm extremely dubious. Still passing it on. Anybody know someone this happened to?

Confirming. My 7 att 4 slot unique Silent Crusade Shoulders blew up. I dropped a ward on them, it asked me if I wanted to use a white scroll (since I had a few on me). I clicked no. Then it asked me if i wanted to use a ward, I clicked yes. Boom. Nexon is making it really easy to drop the game.

If a remember correctly, these had a chance to break on kMS. Though, not 100% on that.

Or have ws, then click yes using ws?

That you paid real $ for for the items to work. If Nexon doesn't compensate for all losses now, it WILL be clear grounds for a negligence law suit.

They get a refund of their shielding wards and then any items they lost will get compensated with a clean, unpotentialed version of said item like what they did with the expiring unlocked items

Uh I'm sure that the items blowing up are due to having the WS's in your inventory. If you watch the video very carefully the second that she clicks no to use the WS just before she clicks on yes to use the Ward the item blew up. The Glove blew up before she even touched anything about using the Ward.
