Storyline? What storyline? The PQ by itself had none. "A spaceship crashed, go check it out." No explanation given as to why the aliens have similar skills to ours.

One possible way to work it in would be to say that Cygnus and her Knights come from the same world as these aliens (or visited there, in case canon already has it they were born and raised in Maple world) and came here to teach us these skills. It might even help explain how they were so easily corruptible: either because they're not true-blood Maplers, or because they have a history of seeking out special powers.

Anyway, I'd love to see VPQ come back, but I'm not holding my breath based on some Tespia banner graphics. Half the time Nexon's banner designers are just picking up random sprites anyway, and the other half of the time, their graphic programmers reuse "version exclusive" images for other purposes (I.Am.Robot, anyone?).

What is the problem with people WANTING VPQ back? Seriously, I don't get it.

Asides from you, who already said you enjoyed the PQ itself and not the items it gave, the people who DO want it back only want it back for the weapons / equips. They don't give a pomegranate about the PQ itself other than the items it drops.
Both sides are selfish for their own reasons, so I don't get why people are trying to argue otherwise.

What happens if Visitors doesn't come back: People who never got the chance miss out on brilliant weapons, arguably the game's best medal, and something extra to do.

What happens if Visitors comes back: VPQ comes back.

VPQ =/= Visitor Event I posted this before Rick amended his. =[

Even if VPQ came back, people still wouldn't get the medal and the weapons don't mean pomegranate anymore other than them being "Statless", which is already a joke in itself as people can equip the 130 / 140 equips while having their 2ndary be the bare minimum already.
The only purpose the VIP items serve nowadays is to look pretty.

NO VPQ. EVER. AGAIN. That is all.

I hate those dark clouds and flying objects in every map, stupid aliens ruining the spawn. All the quests outside VPQ are useless cause the items are pretty much impossible to make permanent.

I could be biased as VIP Pole Arm is crap and cause I already have my TT Medal. But that medal is the only advantage I have over many killmachines funded with nx or hacks.

Once again, VPQ =/= Visitor event lol

VPQ is a lot more fun than 95% of the things Nexon is likely to introduce instead. When it first came out it had a really good challenge:reward ratio. In a game filled with unspeakably shitty game design, it found a nice niche.

Hopefully it'll functionally be limited to once a day if they do bring it back. The ability (pressure) to do it incessantly really made the difference between my fondest attachment and my deepest hatred. Most things are like that I suppose.

i only posted it like that because everybody before me had said exactly the opposite.

and i mean, the PQ coming back means: another pq, with good rewards, there's no downside to THE PQ (not event) coming back, except overinflated daggers going down in price. there is no plausible reason for dissing the PQ, if it sucks, you hate it, or whatever, you don't have to do it. period.

the event in itself, badly designed, since it practically forced you to not train, however, the story of it was quite interesting if i say so, yes, it's the usual time traveling one, but so what?

also, on a random thought... visitors from the future= UA? suppossedly WE were the visitors, even though they were obviously using cygnus skills xD

I would like the pq instead that nasty event...
The prices of the vpq weapons are so high and with my level of fund ffs.
I also own the TT medal i dont want to see other people with it or doing 4 parts of it again unless theres other reward like belt/pendant/etc.

I say bring it back. VPQ =/= TT Medal.
VPQ would be something enjoyable I can do with friends/guildies since it was actually challenging and required some strategy.
The money I could/would make from it is just a bonus. Wink

assumming they ramp up the difficulty again. i remember how the "only" way to beat it was to be OP up the ass (i was the HB mule of a very powerful DB) or bring an FP mage xD

Because if these images are hints on something, they hint at the full event coming back, not (perma) VPQ.

I'm fine with the perma VPQ version, but not with the TT medal coming back x)
