...No, do you know how much 150$ actually equals in terms of mesos now? It's like 5b. Now apply that to the game, it isn't a lot. And 26 attack shoes are pretty damn well end game from what I know. And what's the difference between that and throwing 150k nx on scrolling your item? I'll tell you, you lose out. You get more bang from your buck if you buy the items pre-scrolled.

CHTP sure yea I have one did I pay for it like other people yea I never once claimed that I was completely legit however I didnt get in bed with hackers to do my boss runs as others have HP washed nope not once You hardly know who I am yourself the only time me and you have ever talked was the very short time when we were in an alliance together.

There is no completely legit, it's you're legit or you're not. There's no liberal sense to it. You're supporting what they are doing and have direct involvement by purchasing it. The alliance has plenty of hackers that you associate yourself with. You just don't know about it because you live in your own world.

Just so were clear that CTHP and my glitched hb are the only two things I have gotten that would be consider not legit, I'm sure your list is much longer

I was referring to when zakum was big time but even so Done plenty of HT runs before it was glitched and after 1 time we were d/ced by some random ass people.

Yes and how do most people get mesoes buying nx selling 10 attack wgs and other things over mts. The alliance your speaking of again was months ago and seeing as I hardly ever interacted with any of them none of them went to any of my runs even when I asked if some would cuz i was short a few people. I never said I was legit I did say however I don't go around faulting it nor do I basically get in bed with hackers just to to play the game. So were clear with me at least it wasn't an issue of money just didn't really see the point in it.

It proved my point the people who suffer d/c hacks from runs are d/c repeatably from what I've heard happening the one time is a random occurrence

it's not about how many times you've supported them, it's the fact that you have, and if the game continues like it's going, chances are the next time a godly item for a good price comes (say, 27 attk VSS for 30 bucks) you'll support them again, why? because not even the guys that are suppossed to enforce the rules care, why should you?

Yet I have the money to support then now and haven't and wont why? Its a game a mmo at that when equips are constantly being replaced. That and on the off chance nexon dose start enforcing its rules I don't want the 5 years worth of stuff I've gotten to be for nothing and the only account I have gone simply because "everyone else is doing it".

In the sense that they've 100% certainly never owned an item or meso that has been in possesion of a hacker, no. But there are reasonable and unreasonable assumptions about where items came from.
Reasonable to assume it's legit: Epic potted clean items with bad stats and "crafted by somenoob".
Unreasonable to assume it's legit: 27 att VSS with "M4PleHermit's" item tagged onto it. Insert ign of whatever dupers smega a lot on Khaini; that guy's on Bera.
Reasonable: Someone selling 15 PoTs.
Unreasonable: Someone selling 700 PoTs.

I can say with confidence my gear is legit because I didn't buy it in the FM. Some of the scrolls on it, I'm not completely certain - but at the time I was buying them, there were no public dupe hacks, or even rumors of private ones. Sure, I may have saved the odd 1-2mil on them because item farmers deflated costs - but I'm not running around with a weapon that is literally tens of billions cheaper due to hackers.

This is a tree, here's the fucking forest. The fact these equips were made/duped and even circulated is a sign of "well pineapple this games screwed". Not even to mention the fact that the idea of making 500 attack weapons won't happen for YEARS. Unless another exploit or hack comes out, which I'm sure you'd be abusing.

Yet because it's like stealing chewing gum, the end justifies the means. The whole point of this conversation is trying to show your contradictory statements (thanks goes out to eos) and your hypocritical standpoint when you're essentially saying "Avoid hackers, it's easy, this coming from one!". This also includes the ones you were bossing with, which I know because I was there at well. But my defense works because I don't try to defend it, I unfortunately tolerated it as I didn't have much choice.

See you can't even grasp the point I'm making or rather we all are with the CHTP. It's not the fact it was sold by a hacker, it's the fact it was an unobtainable piece of equipment at the time. The only way you could have gotten it is if you purchased it from someone who killed chtp illegitimately. You see? I really hate having to spell things out, it reminds me of a certain other forum.

I could probably pull ss' up later, although I'm not too certain it would show what I want them too as it wasn't the original intention. I don't try to say hacking is wrong, but it's okay if I do it a teeny pit, because it doesnt hurt anyone. I bought it out of efficiency, that's it. I don't care if a hacker makes it or not, if it makes me strong enough to obtain my goals I don't give a fu`ck.

Yes buy one hacked item might as well line up for everything else hacked down the line. If you had been paying attention at all you would know in my case(I'm sure you were first in line for stuff) I have not been in that line.

You really need to get a definition for hacker or stop tossing the word around in different contexts. My definition of a hacker is the people using the 3rd party programs not sure what your definition is if i would care to guess it would be my definition in one second and someone who buys a hacked item in another.

If anything people who think like you are the reason the problems have gotten to where they are doing out of efficiency sure why not Throw up a middle finger to everyone else who choose not to while your at it. We've both done an exploit me buying the said CHTP you in the long list of stuff you've done. In most peoples books your a bigger cause to the problem.

Hacking is a problem for the community not because it mindlessly worships Nexon's will, but because it imbalances the game. In that respect, the problem with using an obviously hacked equip is indistinguishable from making it yourself. At least there's plausible deniability when you buy probably duped scrolls. A 300 atk weapon couldn't possibly have been created through legitimate means.

I actually would contrast the case of a CHTP and an EE-hacked weapon. It's more than plausible that Nexon intended for people to actually fight and beat CHT, and it can't be expected of everyone to constantly check the forums to see when and whom legitimately beats the boss. Worse than buying a GM scroll off MTS, but not as bad as using EE-hacked stuff.

you guys keep pulling "all chtpz are illegitz @!$!" card, but there ARE a handful of 40/70 stats that are legit.
Not very many, but still. CHTP != auto-illegit, just most of the time.
