I started this quest 2 weeks ago and really wanted the skill, so i decided to give it a shot!
My first 7 lunar dews quest were long ass time ago, gave up until now. I came back LOL
What I am going to do is post a picture of every single lunar dews and soul lights I find and upload it here. You can tell by the EXP, and how many I killed them. I was freaking in pain.
What I don't really understand is how people finish lunar dews quest in 8~11 hours on 1x/2x ? I dont get that at all. It literally took me 8 hours on 2x just to find 3! -__-..
And as for the first set of soul lights, it took me 8 hours to find 2~3 on 2x! How do people finish it in 4~11 hours? I researched this through google and amount of time people finish it compare to mine is totally ridiculous. Really now, how the hell do you finish it in 4~11 hours ? I don't get it.

Lunar Dews

Avg of 5~7 hours a day with 2x and family rep.

After this, I went to omega sector and killed Ultra Gray. First one took me 4 hours of 2x and I got it right when 2x finished >_>

Soul Lights 1st Set

After 5 days of literally 8 hours of 2x, and 5 hours of 4x (event), I finally finished it and got level 1 soul driver.

Level 1 Soul Driver

Surprisingly, 3rd set was a lot easier than other 2 sets. Maybe because I got excited after I found first 3 soul lights easily and finished it without taking that much of breaks.

As for you lucky people who finished first set in just 4~11 hours.
Those of you, that are currently doing this quest. How far and how long did it take you?

Looking back on my old topic, the first set was the only "Long" set, all the rest went by rather quickly.
Although there have been people who had the same bad luck all throughout their entire leveling process and it took them days or weeks just to finish the next set. I just had the luck of the "Over 9000" gods.

I feel like the first set was quicker for me than the dews/second set. But even though it was quicker, it still lasted me a good week or so..

I've been stuck on the second set for the longest time -__-.

what are you killing? i remember completing that one on 4x in just 2 hours 30 mins by doing cube slimes

It's easier to just level a cygnus to 120 and create a UA than it is to finish those damn quests.

It's easier to just make a brawler UA and get it to 188 than it is to finish those damn quests.

I made a 166 UA Pally instead and enjoy the soul driver that is given to me at the start ^_^

Spent about 6 hours (Over a period of 2 months) trying to get Lunar Dews and I quit after that. It's just too much for me. Peridots come quicker then these hellish items!!

My hate for you cannot be expressed in mere words.
1 dew after several hours of 1x and 1.2x, I lag too hard during 2x to train or farm effectively.

are these skill even worth getting anymore? I know Wind piercing is the strongest of them all since Chaos but It is only useful for bowmasters and IDK wherre it stands after Jump! and advanced inferno, soul driver right now is helpful but doesn't seem worth all the work and it will become obsolete once Jump! hits and we can spam coma. I know F/P mages want Flame Gear for stacking it up with other dots and do more damage with poison Eruption, but wouldn't lvl 1 FG be enough for that? We all know Vampiric touch is useless for all thief but shadowers (and even then, might not be worth getting) and IDK about Shark wave.

As someone with max wind piercing, I can confidently say that it is useless. The delay is too long and area of effect too limited to be useful in most situations. Inferno seems like its already better dps-I just haven't done the math yet.

I know, most likely jump will be here by the time i do max it, but considering that I've finished dews and gotten 2 lights already it doesn't feel right to turn back now Tongue
