Wonder why anyone just kill him. That guy clearly has done more harm than good.

Kinda difficult to kill someone who controls the military, state security apparatus and will destroy your whole family for any offense you do. Also, you were raised to believe he and his father are Gods. You'd have to have balls of steel to kill an actually power-possessing "god."

This type of things make me think "God the future will be so odd that not even our wildest dreams will come close to how it will be!".
brb going back in time to tell my grandparents that the future world will be half ruled by an imaginary world (multiverse?).

More than half. Some of the biggest economies in the world are virtual economies.

Nuclear attack funded by MMOs.

Next, instead of wars, we'll have Street Fighter & Starcraft tournaments.

Still, it would depend on the hours they "work". 30 people netting ~1.5M a year, thats what, 50K a person? That's not TERRIBLY bad for people that are essentially sitting around playing video games.

From a global perspective, government employees earning the government 50k a year is pomegranate. World powers are capable of much higher than that per average employee in similar comparisons.

Sounds good to me.
South Korea would have complete world domination but still.

It's not like they are even playing the games, they are using bots to make the cash and have a real job on top of it. I'd certainly take 50,000 USD for doing nothing but hosting a few bots 24/7 on my PCs.
