Yeah, I've noticed that Battleship's icon is essentially its "hp bar". 50k damage is quite a large amount of HP in regular training, considering that Captains aren't going to be hit very often. Unless level 10 Battleship has 200k hp, it isn't worth the 4x increase in cooldown.

I guess level 1 Mind Control early on wouldn't hurt...but I'm still not convinced that the damage it does is enough to increase %/h, especially since Battleship Cannon overkills by quite a bit.

Shrapnel commented saying most/all KMS captains max it after cannon. I don't know why they would if it wasn't a significant increase honestly. xD Guess we just have to wait for a video that's just as good as this one featuring max battleship. :/

Well, the damage is dependent on the monster you're controlling. At this point, it just seems to be that skeles and CGs are the only monsters worth it. I'm interested in seeing how CGs would work...since they have more then one attack skill. It seems skeles can mob and control doesn't wear off as fast as (support) octopus does not to mention the damage is probably faster. (?)

Monsters can't damage you, and you can't damage them while controlled. They don't shift aggro like puppet can though.

I lol'd that you actually expected them to avoid anything. They attack in a massive ship for god's sake, how hard can it be to hit a massive ship?

How does warriors miss yet they close range?
How do archers and assassins hit even if they're far range?

Technically it depends on the warrior. DrKs get an avoid boost from beholder, but otherwise warriors can actually move compared to a giant ship who probably shouldn't be able to avoid anything...

Anyone know BaSeLy's equips in the screenshot? ("Level 92 Godly Valkyrie")

Must... be... a semi-good pirate. Hopefully joining a bossing guild will let me be accepted in boss runs, even if I suck. Speaking of which, would a Valkyrie need to HP wash to Zakum?

No I believe valkyries (captians) will have more than enough hp for zakum when they reach todays accepted zakum levels for attacker (120). Also they have BSHIP so they can avoid getting hit and just get on and off the ship.

I posted BaSely's stats and gun a page or so back.. they're nothing to get too excited about to be honest lol. not as godly as people were thinking, which I think definitely says something about a valkyrie's damage.

as for HP washing, it isn't necessary. you'll definitely have more than enough HP for zakum by 120, but for me, I had enough in 9x after a few washes. currently at level 107 I have 3399 HP.

18xx% per cannon, but only 456% or whatever per hit.

20k = 456%
100% = 43xx max base damage range.

Looks like a 15x BM/MM's, and they get +10 passive attack from Boost.

Valkyrie-3rd
Captains-4th


A captain is much more powerful than a Valkyrie due to battle ship. Plus a 4th job is more suited to bossing than third...
