the dude did a private server, after he somehow did a success to hack the download files of KMS.
the guy is a high school student, so he's probably 17 years old. and the name of his user was "CoolKey" or "Coolk"/"Koolk" or something like that. [yeah, i think there's a possible chance that "Koolk" we know is the same guy]

This was done by decrypting the security methods and algorithms, as well as server connection methods. The hacker opened a "private server", which users were able to connect to by using the hacked software. He swayed users who were supposed to connect to the real server, into his server.

Well, on RZ koolk's location is Isreal and the SVN and his site went down.
Briefly, it just tells that "KoolK" hacked into KMS's servers, as well as decrypted their software (which we all obviously know about). Now, it also mentions that KoolK attempted to redirect KMS users into his own server somehow... I don't quite understand if that's what they mean in the article, but it sounds like it. Which is quite weird.
MM, anyways, there was a 3 month investigation, he was "supposedly" arrested and his parents bailed him out. Tough luck..

I am not 100% sure that the site which wrote this article knows about the different Versions of MS. They only know that Nexon is the parent company (Nexon Korea), and so they may very well be mistaken in calling it KMS.
i asked the guy, and he said that his nickname in english is "CoolKey". so it's not Koolk :3
yet, this is just another story about someone who got arrested by the police for making a private server with the KMS files~
