What is this and what does it do?

I found one yesterday. My "friend" jacked it. Then he proceeded not to use it, so I never got to find out.

basically this, there's a list somewhere around. but don't expect to get anything, the pots are going to get sick, and then they'll die. you need access to the profession town to fix them, unless any new town have the potion (haven't seen any with the item though)

you give him a "sick potion" only obtainable in the proffession town.
aka: he's dead.

It said he withered.

No point using them yet, you can't raise them without access to the profession town, as Shinku has said.

Just save them if you want.

I found a temporary solution. I fed it so full that it fell asleep.

Sometimes, it'll be sick when it wakes up, at least, from what I experienced.

Event item pots never get sick, however, regular item pots get sick at least once in their life cycle.

Yes, I can confirm this. I thought I could do this too, jamming it with items and diligently waiting for the moment it awoken to stuff it even more, however immediately after it woke up it started asking me for medicine.
