Cash Shop UI Changes

There have been a few changes in the Cash Shop to enhance security and convenience.



First, you?ll notice that Nexon Cash has now been divided into two categories – PayPal/Pay by Cash and Nexon Game Card Cash. Whenever you make a purchase, you will now be prompted to select one of the now three available payment options - PayPal/Pay by Cash, Nexon Game Card Cash and Maple Points.



Second, the Gift Token section has been removed. As long as you have Nexon Game Card Cash, you?ll be able to gift your friends.



Please remember that some items such as the Character Name Change and Character Transfer can only be purchased with Nexon Game Card Cash. These type of items are marked by an "N" emblem on the item icon.

I personally think this is a stupid idea, what if we want to use both Nexon Game Card Cash and Paypal cash for one item? Silly Nexon.

Actually, the gift system is much better now. You don't need gift tokens to gift, you can just do it using Nexon Game Card Cash.

The thing is, I only buy NX cards when and if I passed my max via online purchase I can gift. I was using paypal NX with gift tokens I earned previous to gift items. I am sure I am not the only one who is affected like this.

Bah, same here. I enjoy savin' my tokens to use when I really needed 'em, and Paypal is my method of choice to get NX.

Oh wells, I don't gift much anyways. At least MTS'd NX should be able to be gifted as well.

Good thing I already name changed the character I wanted it on, and don't need a server change.

I haven't bought any Game Cards, and don't plan to. If they can't trust that I've charged $200+ through Paypal and never scammed them, I don't know what else I can do. I wish there was some way to get "giftable" nx through paypal if you'd done enough regular transactions.


On the other hand, I kinda asked for this so I guess I can take the blame :/ (I actually asked for them to make it spend Paypal NX in the Cash Shop before MTS NX, because it only lets you spend some of your NX in the MTS)

same here, taking out gift tokens means I have to go to the store if I want to gift someone something. I had already earned and saved 55 gift tokens from cards that I could use anytime I wanted and with paypal charges and now it means I have to go to the store everytime I want to gift a guildie.

They didn't say "for your convenience," so I assume they mean "for Nexon's convenience."

Yeah, I like the bit about finally showing you (and letting you use) the split between card NX and PayPal NX. I've long hated the fact that it used your MTS NX first even if you had PayPal NX that would have covered your purchase.

For gifts, I'm hoping the MTS-earned NX goes into card NX (because after all, you can't use PayPal NX in MTS), so gifts could still be done that way. They say you'll be able to send gifts as long as you have "Nexon Game Card Cash," and all NX in the Trade System originally came from there so it should count.

I have to correct something here, cash made by MTS trades = NX Card Cash too!

Can you still combine Nexon Card and Paypal?

If you can't I wholeheartly protest to this. Before the UI change maplepoints and other NX was not combinable, and I have a sneaking suspision that now NX Cards and Paypal also won't be able to be combined. Kinda stinks having 200 maple points, 300 paypal, and then you just keep buying NX Cards >_>

Even though I do everything through Paypal, I hope for everyone else's sake that they are combinable.

I think this is possible now! I just checked CS, and you can select -MULTIPLE- money sources at the same time!

So yeah, I think it's possible, didn't test it though by buying...

With that new 3 options thingie they messed up 2 quests related to the cash shop, when you try to buy "Begginers guide" or the ribbon/bell the guy in orbis asks you It says "pick one of the options" and wont even let you click them so you cant buy.
