I've seen two Pumpkin Lanterns in-game, one in a shop (and it was pretty expensive), and one that my guild leader was using for some reason. Tbh, it doesn't really look like much of a sword, but more like a large halloween decoration. Unfortunately it didn't cross my mind to SS it, so I don't have hard proof of its availability.

Its lvl 30, and yeah we do have it in GMS its just not under GMS hidden-street.

Going from a slow (8) polearm (Chelbird, Zedbug, Hellslayer) to a slow (7) one (Eclipse, Red Surfboard) is pretty noticeable on its own. Moving beyond that to a normal speed (Scorpio, Karstan, Maple Board, and [the entire reason I spent a month getting materials to make it before the box event came out and it was discovered that they contained Tao of Harmony] Crimson Arcglaive) makes for some very nice PA DPS. Might I ask why almost all spears are 1 speed faster than their PA counterpart?

Friends 124 atk sparta --> David's 118 atk RK. Waaaay better with the speed. The damage change was barely noticeable, but the speed was... Still the same amount of hits to kill skeles + faster speed! Good for bossing too.

Honestly, I'm not sure why that is, but it does explain the cult behind Pure Polearm DKs... most get frustrated with slow speed and go hybrid.

It's more the fact that...well...our class is broken with regards to single weapon mastery...(YOU LIED TO ME DANCES WITH BALROGS!)
Although otherwise spear and PA would be indistinguishable, it gets old to see a damage for a skill in the description and have it do half that at best (Spear fury, PA crusher).

I personally believe that the Arcglaive was put in-game JUST for me - I am 80 base dex pure PA and use normal speed PAs. Lol.

Anyways, yea, spears always seem to have an innate, built in bonus over PA, be it speed, an acc boost, or longer reach. While this makes sense in 70- weapons (reliance on Power Strike/SB which can swing/stab at a 3/2 ratio), it is unfair anywhere beyond.

On topic, as said many times before, RK is faster with (if scrolled well) not much of a noticeable damage difference.
