Can anyone explain to me how the servers work? Does there have to be a seperate computer for every channel of every server or something? and they're updating just those two?

Every server CAN be, but doesn't HAVE to be on a separate server. Most of the time, there are like 4~6 channels per server (depends on server population).

So most likely the last 2 channels of the Bellocan world are on some server that needs to be replaced / rebooted / used for something else (test server? Tongue) somehow... Smile

I was always under the impression that there were 2 channels per server, I guess because they almost always take channels down in pairs.

That would somewhat crash with my logic. I always thought, ever since their removal of channel 20, that channel 1 was its own server, 2 and 3 was its own server, 4-5... etc. In my logic, 13 and 14 would thus not be paired.

Does this mean that 17-18-19 is either slow, or that 19 is fast? Eek

I was always under the impression that only Windia-Khaini-Mardia-Bellocan-Kradia-Yellonde had 2 servers per channel, cause the server load bars on Scania/Bera/Broa are lower even with higher population online. Maybe they're just using faster servers.

I'd guess 2+19 are paired now? >_> If it used to be 1+2, 3+4, ... then they'd only want to change the server with channel 1, 2, 19 and 20 on.

Yeah, 2+19 would then theoretically be paired. But, it doesn't make sense to me Eek

Also, Scania should have more (efficient) servers than other Worlds, but well, I'm not certain for sure.
