Hazzy Wrote:Section to list updates please? I would, I just don't remember when I did the other updates ![]() In this update, I changed the layout a bit and added in some Gunslinger info. I also changed the 4th job build so that Air Strike is maxed before getting 10 Advanced Homing and Maple Warrior + AMP are maxed before Support Octopus.

Bribery Wrote:I would, I just don't remember when I did the other updates D: Why is Maple Warrior maxed? It'll be a huge pain to get the lv 20 SB. ._.

Level 150 Captain at Peak of the Big Nest (Notable Skills: Battleship, Rapid Fire, Air Strike) One of the best Captain videos out there. Enjoy ![]() Youtube butchered the quality. If you're wondering about her skills: 30 Rapid Fire 30 Air Strike 01 Battleship 18 Battleship Cannon 10 Advanced Homing 01 Mind Control 01 AMP 01 Battleship Torpedo 01 Support Octopus It also clearly proves that Battleship has no minimum range @ 1:32
Yay! I've subscribed, looking forward to more videos from him/her. xP
Basil as a Gunslinger section now. ![]() http://www.basilmarket.com/show/forum/48 Post your guide please? xD

Does backstep shot require a monster to be in range of the attack in order to be used?
only because it looks like a very efficient form of transportation =P

Hazzy Wrote:Found a nice video on Basil. I already have that video up ![]() Here's a brief video showing the speed of Rapid Fire (posted by Mikako11 of SW) Rapid Fire's Speed It's 300 bullets in 36 seconds (roughly 8 bullets per second), meaning it's not faster than Hurricane
Bribery Wrote:I already have that video up 300 Bullets in 36 seconds...? :f6: Jesus, that's an entire set of the 110 Bullets in six minutes. o_o Bossing with that's going to be fun. <_< Hmmm, it's only twice as strong as Triple Fire. Personally, I don't think I'd use it much, far too costly/weak to a monster's DEF. TF = 210%, three times = 630%-3*def RF = 160%, eight times/second=1333%-8*def TF Firing speed please. :[ Triple Fire has to shoot 127 times per minute(2.11/second) to be equal to Rapid Fire in damage, less depending on the defense of the monster. That's fast... o__o http://www.sleepywood.net/forum/showpost...ostcount=7 Fast Claws are 100 per minute. ._. At the rate of a Claw, with booster, Triple Fire does 63,000% damage per minute, spamming Rapid Fire does 79,980% DPM, again, spamming. Notable difference. :[ I'll add Def later, I has to go now. Find TF's attack speed please?

what about mastery? plus, people are mainly gonna use battleship canon/torpedo, and not rapid fire. does canon/torpedo use bullets? that would be wierd if it did

I have no idea if Cannon/Torpedo use bullets, good question :f6: KaidaTan Wrote:I've timed Hurricane several times. Assuming we both have a small margain of error, I think it's safe to say that they both fire at exactly the same speed since they're so similar. I wish they'd speed up Rapid Fire since Hurricane has a lot more buffs to go with it: Advanced Mastery, Critical Shot, and Sharp Eyes. It's a little pathetic seeing a Captain hit 5k max with Rapid Fire while a Bowmaster hits over 10k at the same speed. Bribery Wrote:I wish they'd speed up Rapid Fire since Hurricane has a lot more buffs to go with it: Advanced Mastery, Critical Shot, and Sharp Eyes. It's a little pathetic seeing a Captain hit 5k max with Rapid Fire while a Bowmaster hits over 10k at the same speed. My understanding is that Cannon is a Captain's main attack, while Rapid Fire is for use during the cool-down time on Battle Ship. Compare Cannon and Hurricane please? ![]() In my comparison between Rapid and Triple Fire, I found that if the monster's defense is over 340% of your damage range, it'll be better to use Triple Throw. Rofl. That's well over 6k Defense. D: (Assuming it fires at the rate of a Fast Claw + booster) Another topic I want to discuss, why don't Gunslingers get Wind Booster? Seems fair to split it as, after all, Gunslingers are speed. Why would an Infighter, slow and strong, be teaching party mates how to be fast? Shouldn't Gunslingers, fast and weaker, be doing it? Seems more fitting. ._.

That's exactly what I thought the moment I saw the skill tables. It's as if they mixed the skills up >_>; Hazzy Wrote:My understanding is that Cannon is a Captain's main attack, while Rapid Fire is for use during the cool-down time on Battle Ship. Compare Cannon and Hurricane please? That's the way I understand it too. Battleship Cannon really makes a Captain seem strong. I have no idea what the casting speed is though but it seems to have decent speed. That level 150 Captain seemed to be averaging about 27k total per shot with Battleship Cannon, and that's not bad considering it was only level 18.

It's a little pathetic seeing a Captain hit 5k max with Rapid Fire while a Bowmaster hits over 10k at the same speed. You mean how Bowmasters do 10k 55% of the time and 3k 45% of the time? Hurricane is a Bowmaster's main skill, it makes sense that it would end up doing more damage than a Captain's best un-transformed skill. Even so, you have to remember that Crits are not the only things Bowmasters can do. |
