Notebook Event - Week 3 Results

Do their drop rates change or is it by coincidence?-> I remember one night the notebooks were dropping by 2-3 per minute. The next day it took me around ten minutes just to get one. Oh well. I'll have a good laugh if Team A loses from over confidence. Doubt it though.

I think it was like this:

New patch >> Glitched notebooks (very high droprate) >> Server check >> Regular drop rate (insanely low)

Could be coincidence. I never got a single notebook but after Team A won twice, notebooks started dropping.

I think this competition is rigged actually o.O When I was collecting slime bubbles, i found 4 -5 notebooks in less then 10 minutes at the slime tree. The drop rate is pretty high i guess cause i found a couple on maple island really easily too. o.o

Most Epic PHAIL event ever in the history of all MMORPG's...

1. Free 2 days of 1 hour of 2x EXP - Like anyone is gonna notice 1 hour 2x EXP... :')
2. Same team always wins because the team is larger... :')
3. Noone is even bothering trying to get them... :')
4. If you actively go hunting for notebooks, you loose more exp due to crap exp on notebook drop spots then you gain back with 2x EXP times... :')

Really... what brilliant super noob at Nexon came up with this event and thought it would be a good idea for a whole month of crap? :')

Yea, this is the worst event I ever saw. I swear I would say that even if I was on Scania.

i disagree these is a great idea on nexon's side... they had a 15% increase in player activity ever sence they started the event and a 8.5% increase in new accounts made (that is ofcourse not counting the ones people make to get maple points with) that may not seem like much but considering theres 4+ million players in ms 15% is alot!

And it may have been a good idea for NEXON, but not for us.

If they made the 2x exp to long, it would just make the other servers complain more. I think 2 hours would have been just find though. 1 Hour is just dumb -_-".

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I'm surprised A won this time around... Scania was down for 2 days!

... Then again, this event is more about "which server has the most lowbies" since they actually train on slimes... I don't know a single 50+ training at the drop spots for notebooks.

What did they mean by close race? I wanna know the numbers. The only bad thing about this quest is that you get NOTHING for losing. It should at least give EXP.

Come on, after 2-3 weeks you'd expect Nexon to do something to allow the other teams to have a chance of winning...

I never expected any other team to win other than Team A; because of Scania. Scania could've won alone even if the other servers were still in teams. I'm not going to go out of my way to farm these retarded notebooks hours on end every weekday for 2 hours of 4x exp, complete ripoff.

This isn't the worst event ever. It means another cool item for my islander.


My goal is to get around 100 by the patch. I'm definitly not complaining about all the training I get for my islander, though. ;D

Bummer for me.

I was hoping for a little 4x exp time this weekend.

Nexon screwed the other servers by putting Scania in it in the first place.

I'm so lucky Kradia (secondary) is teamed up with Scania (my main)!
