Chris Brown flew into a rage on the "Good Morning America" set on Thursday, breaking a window and storming off the set after being asked about his assault on Rhianna during an interview with Robin Roberts.

Roberts asked Brown, who was promoting his new R&B album, "F.A.M.E.," about the restraining order ex-girlfriend Rihanna had issued against Brown, and how it's been "relaxed" in recent months.

"You can go to events and be in the same room," Roberts said. "Have you all seen each other or been around each other?"

"Not really," Brown responded. "It's not really a big deal to me now. I think I'm past that in my life. Today's the album day so that's what I'm focused on. So everybody go get that album."

Brown tried to steer the two-and-a-half-minute conversation toward the album, but Roberts continued to ask about how Brown, who is serving five years probation, got "past" the incident.





After the interview, Brown performed "Yeah 3x," the lead single from "F.A.M.E." Then, according to ABC, he "let loose."

Brown -- who pleaded guilty to assaulting Rihanna in 2009 -- stormed into his dressing room after the performance, smashed a "thick glass" window and stormed out of the Times Square studio without a shirt on -- confronting an ABC producer on the way out. Security was called.

"The show's hair and makeup staff said they had called security because they heard loud noises coming from Brown's dressing room," a spokesperson for ABC said. "It was then discovered that a window had been smashed in Brown's dressing room. The thick glass was destroyed."

By the time security arrived, Brown had left the building -- apparently shirtless.

"As always, we ask questions that are relevant and newsworthy," the network said in a statement, "and that's what we did in this interview with Mr. Brown."

According to TMZ, Brown tweeted, "I'm so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie [S]heen and other celebs for [sic] there bulls**t." (Brown apparently deleted the tweet.) Later, he tweeted: "All my fans!!! This album is for you and only you!!! I'm so tired of everyone else!! Honestly!"

Suprised no-one here poasted this but... Chris Brown freaked out again yesterday. Threw a chair, smashed a window, took of his shirt like the Hulk and decided to roam the streets of New York City whilst shirtless.

Damn, and I was just in the city the other day...

If he went on GMA to talk about a album for promotion, you bring up Rhianna. Unless they warned him before I'd see why he'd get upset. Then again he should control himself. Eeeh I don't know. *Kanye Shrug*

Anyone who thinks this was justified is retarded. Regardless of whether or not it was wrong for her to attack those questions, he reacted in the worst possible way. Destroying pomegranate and tearing your shirt off is never justified. He's got serious rage issues and it's pretty clear that he's learned nothing since his time with Rihanna. It only takes one little thing to set someone like him off so I wouldn't be surprised to hear of him beating on someone else in the future.

Apparently he was okay with the first question being asked but he gave a lousy answer. Then the chick kept pushing him to give more details but he kept avoiding it by referring to his album. Raging that much was not necessary, and ouch? a window.
