how do you fight against von leon?

according to the door, i need to be on channel 12 17 o 19, okk, i am in channel 12, however, the door won't let me go in, tried this without an exped, with an exped alone, and with an exped of 4 players total, looking for two more to see if it works like zak or something

i was alone in front of the door the whole time, but the GMST video from combatente shows him going in alone.

In Tespia atleast you needed a 6 person squad to get in.

Fyi it uses the following skills:
-Teleports around the map
-Summons Orcs and Mini-castle knights
-After a minute or two he'll start eating the Mini-castle knights, when he does he recovers 10% of his hp (he has 550 million hp)
-Sends you out of the map into a prison. You have to break open treasure chests to get a key to be able to get out of the prison and back to the room with Von Leon.
-Casts Potential nullification (it lasts about two minutes)
-Uses damage reflect; it did 23,000 damage to me the one time I got hit (he used it when he'd teleported away from me, then teleported overtop of me and the damage reflect buff wasn't visible over his head). Luckily you are respawned outside and can come back in like Dragon Rider PQ. But it likely takes the normal 5 or 10% exp per death like Dragon Rider PQ (I had no way of knowing since the character I was testing on was 200).
-There's a potion cooldown of 30 seconds in this room also (though not in the respawn room or the prison).

the biggest problems are the fact i can't spam sacrifice, and hitting the reflect are the biggest issues, and well, if lol-soloing, the minicastle knights are an issue too (btw how much HP do they have?)

They have a crapload of HP, almost the same as any other mob in VLC. Also i entered with a party of 4 BUT you need to do the quest in VLC to enter the chamber.

I think the CD on the pots is lower that 30secs and you lose about 1% exp per death.

which quest? i did the ones until i got the warping scroll, and couldn't get past the gate. as expected the little critters have over 5 mil hp probs.
and if i ever get in, i'll tell you how long the CD lasts.

also, can't redo the quest for the scroll, might have to wait until tomorrow? 24 hours?

well, guess i'll just have to wait till tomorrow, and go in with a 6man expedition. let's see how it goes, i'dd double post or something if it works/doesn't/etc

Might try on other channels, remember how zak and HT have said chans 3, 4, and 5 and ch 8 but were really 4, 5, and 6 (for zak) and chan 9 for HT.

Is there an EXP loss for dying in Van Leon's room?

We went with 3 parties today. It didn't work on ch12, 17 or 19 but it worked on ch18. You lose 1% exp every time you die.

and guess i'll try ch 18 next time i guess, it sucks you only get one try per day, and not even one try per fight, but per warp to the outside of the boss.

We went once in Mardia last night, Ch12 didn't work, we went to ch13 and it worked. make sure you have your quest done with the reawrd of the scroll in your Use Slot to be able to warp there.

-CH18 works, 13 as was said by happylight should work too
-Summons Orcs and Mini-castle knights*

-Uses damage reflect; it did 23,000 damage to me the one time I got hit
-You lose 1% exp per death
-There's a potion cooldown of 30 seconds in this room also (though not in the respawn room or the prison).
-Notifications are useful, the teleporting isn't at random, the notifications say for example:
"von leon considers shinkudragon as the most threatening enemy", guess what it says when he teleports, or rather, a second or so before:
"von leon teleports to the most threatening enemy"
-touch damage was 3.5k, and he did 1.5k with his attacks
-when he summons castle knights, it has a specific animation (like a blue burp) and notification advices you he is planning to eat them
-he seemed to recover 100M hp per castle knight round (note i didn't kill any of the castle knights) and i am not sure, but he seems to eat only the ones close to him?
