Crappy gear...

I finally got my mechanic to lvl70... But now I realized that I have very crappy gear. I have pieces of armor (gloves/shoes) that are under level 30 while everything is between 40-50.

Is this normal? If not... What should I do to get gear?

Kill mobs that drop your eguips, which means sacrificing exp/hr because you can't train at jester/golden temple?. Not much point anyways the time hunting for gear, you can just lv and have stronger skills to do more dmg.

Get maker, and save up the etc drops of the monsters you're killing, as well as their drops. Then make the etc drops in monster crystals, and demaker the unpotentialed equips you have into monster crystals.

meh, i'm still wearing a bathrobe at 143 cuz ive been failing at makering a 3 line overall. and a work glove. and a zak hat (cant not dc at czak). who cares, mechs are op anyways

It's easier to get monster crystals by un-makering the equip drops you find IMO.

In 8700 etcs (thus 87 crystals) at Bains, I found 26 hidden potential items and roughly 200 unpotential items. Each item is worth several crystals, so I'd guess if I'd unmakered them all I would have got 500+ crystals that way.
