MapleStory will be going through an unscheduled server maintenance on September 23rd, 2008.





This involves the game servers and will last for approximately 2 hour and 30 minutes.

Wonder what's so urgent it couldn't wait for the regular Tuesday night Server Maintenance.

Anyway, I hope they're adding prizes to the Attendance Check quest. For people who aren't swordsmen. And consolation prizes for those who missed a day or two.
But I'd settle for a fix of the various auto-ban bugs.

Meh, just pissed that I was planning on leveling before dinner, and now I can't ;[

Well, Nexon never announced that this was a swordsman-only quest.
It's open to everybody, and Maple Admin promises "something nice" to anyone faithfully collecting the junkfoods and turning them in.
If the prize remains an untradeable sword, utterly useless to the vast majority of maplers, a lot of people, who don't follow the forums and didn't know what was coming, will be more than "kinda annoyed". More like "mighty disappointed".

I really hope Nexon changes the prize, as a way of thumbing its nose at oh-so-smart extractors and their followers. Not that I don't admire Fiel, or aren't grateful for all the information I read here. But I sometimes wish for a more even contest of wits (vs. Nexon), you know?
