This is a preemptive CORK YOUR MOUTHFLAP, ZELKOVA.
So I was playing Apples to Apples with some various folk on my floor. And a girl I previously thought might be of interest sealed the deal against herself tonight. I can look past the quantity of green cards she was unfamiliar with, but when she had to stop and ask which side the Democrats were...

...And she didn't know until her roommate told her it was Obama's side. The sudden and substantial look of disgust didn't help either. So that's like the third person in a row that seemed promising but turned out to be painfully uninformed/unaware/potentially uneducated (in college, hurr)
So let's talk about her roommate. What a twat. She played "pyramids" on the green card "legendary". Fair enough. They're pretty damn legendary. Until the discussion over which card's the best leads her to blurt out "ALIENS!"

Sure, somewhere in the vast expanse of the universe, other intelligent life probably has, does, or will exist. But beings capable of intergalactic travel dropping by to build us some heaps of stone? You have never touched a probability calculation in your life, have you? I present this alongside the idea of Occam's Razor. It's not very effective...
"Do you seriously not believe in aliens? What about all the dying birds and pomegranate?"

Oh. And she's racist. Insanely and openly racist. A Toyota commercial came on and that's all it took to set her off about "THOSE FUC'KING ASIANS". And the time we worked the same lunch shift during finals week with an awesome guy I worked a whole semester with. His name is Jose and-big surprise- he's Mexican. 2nd generation and his English is native. So of course she's as surprised as a living chinchilla in a fur store when he speaks clear English to her. And she has to come declare her surprise to me and explain that the Mexican guys at her last job "leered at her all the time" and I'm just standing there with my inner monologue firing douche-thoughts:

And sure, everyone's a little racist. But at the very least most people are aware of when they're applying stereotypes unfairly (most of my other friends at least). At least a few Mexicans at her old job gave her some fodder to laughably apply to the millions of others. I really don't know what she has against the whole of Asia.
TL;DR
Sometimes I'd get Lunchables with 10 pepperonis in them. Meaning I could make a pizza with 4 on it. Those were the best days of my youth.
