1.2x Drop? WTP NEXON?

I understand nerf on 2x EXP buffs, but why nerf 2x drop buffs as well? HUGE "WHY????", Nexon.

Was droprate increased in BB? No.
Were 2x drop CARDS removed? No.

I definitely think drop rates were increased with big bang.

Everytime I go out hunting I come back with at least 10 - 20 equips. I remember before BB, if I ever got an equip it was (1) crap and (2) was so rare that I would shout out in excitement that I found a black maro.

Does anyone else feel that scrolls drop more often now too? Since big bang I've found about 5 scrolls whereas before I would find 0.

They were increased with the addition of the potential system (although I'm not sure if you've played since then). But if you mean the drop rate was increased even more, disregard what I said. :f6:

As Zach said, this is a result of potential, not BB. Drop rates actually feel LOWER now.

This can also be related by the fact that the drop tables were changed? I remember that I could never find a black nisrock at ToT, although it was in the monster book, but post big bang I found 3 on the first day.

Assuming the follow up quest to the log-off event still works, you can technically get free items worth 2x drop and 2x exp. I mean, I still have one of those 2x drop items on an alt, so it hasn't been deleted or anything, and I don't recall seeing a replacement item in the extractions. Granted, this is only for half an hour after not logging onto an account for who knows how long. Still, I never had a family, so I guess I can't feel the pain that some do.

Idk what you mean... I used to get like 10 equips in no time when potential patch was released. Now I hunted dual birks for 30mins and only got 1 drop.

It seems like drop rate was decreased instead :/

Very much agree. I've found quite a bit of items now than I did before BB.

IDK, I found way more at skeles last weekend than I had before BB. But maybe that was just me.

If anything were changed at all, whether that be increased or decreased drop rates since BB, one thing for sure is that in post BB they drop too many tons of pots that most of us don't even want to use. Unless you're 1 of the tanking classes that barely take any dmg then you can actually use those lame unagis, I've got 2.2k def or so with mirror target kicking in and I can't even afford to use unagis or pops unless I like spamming those pots several times. Also, I've noticed that book drop rates are anywhere from 1/4 to 1/8 of pre bb drop rate. I've trained at ob4 for what almost 4-5hrs (with 2hrs of 2x event drop buff) and not even one book dropped from them. I could've sworn I've gotten at least 4-6books within 2hrs with 2x events in pre bb.

I've been having really bad luck finding equips with potential on them. I've probably found a whole 4 potential equips since Big Bang hit. Anyone else?

I havent left Vic yet as I'm doing the ring quests and I have found a heap of potentialed low level items. May be 20% of the drops I've found have had potential.
