Nexon korea developers Q&A (organized by asf)

Satellite Wrote:-> Bill Gates isn't letting us to do that.

No, it's because:

- They use Microsoft SQL Server
- They use DirectX
- They use Microsoft Visual C++ for development

None of these are available for MacOS. I never see them porting to Mac. Ever.

Quote:Qn: Will there be a change to the KoC in the future?

A: Yes, there will be definitely changes to Cygnus.

Qn: Will there be any bosses related to black Mage?

A: No one has seen the black Mage - not even us - but we've seen a lot of his subordinates.

Mac fails anyway, they and their overpriced garbage.
I'd rather they ask about "Linux" and not "MacOS".

C++ code can be run on linux based system as long as they don't use Windows API Tongue Conversion may be possible but will take several months to switch between DX > OpenGL.

I bet that if the raise the lvl cap to say 300 and add a 5th job, they will add a 4th job to CK and raise there lvl cap to like 200 or 180 or something.

A: Yes, but there are no plans for the fifth job at this point in time.

Theres a few more qns

Question: Why is there such a great price difference for cash items between those in KMS and MSEA? (KMS’s items are cheaper than MSEA’s.)

Answer: This is due to the different spending power for players in these 2 services. However, there are more cash shop benefits in MSEA than KMS to offset this imbalance.

Question:Why were the recently launched permanent items such a limited range?

Answer: We had taken into consideration that MSEA players spent less on equips than on other cash items, (the demand wasn’t as great), thus there were less items. Actually, there were about 250 items. But the response was great, we could release them soon again.

Question: Will there be a patch to offset the imbalance in price for normal items and potential items?
Answer: We will review this.

Question:How does the team obtain/ know more about MSEA?

Answer: We try to have as much interaction with the MSEA players. We look at the Facebook comments, the forums. (Ms Christina Lee said she once commented on Facebook, but there wasn’t any reply for that, yikes.) Also, there are stronger responses coming from MSEA than other areas.

Question:There is this population issue (lower population) for some of the worlds in MSEA. How does the team intend to resolve this?

Answer: We try to balance this through rewards in game. Else, we could see merging as a solution.

Question:There is a cap to the maximum amount of mesos that a player can have. Could we raise this?

Answer: This will be reviewed.

Other future expansions shared by Ms Christina Lee
-there's possibility that players will be able to share their conquests in Maple on Facebook and Twitter.
-further simplfied minimaps

Well...This is the second time Asiasoft organized this Meet the Developers session for MapleSEA. Like what was being said by the Developers, stronger responses were received from MSEA. Probably because SG people are perfectionists and tends to complain more for the better...

I never said Apple stuff isnt overpriced garbage, I think so too.

But it's also true that Microsoft has monopoly in OS industry, at least when it comes to games.
