Big Bang patch glitches, surprises, features, comments...

This has always been that way.
Once I got my level 90 Pirate hat, over a year ago, I couldn't PPQ anymore (well, I could, but this relogging to get out got old really fast).
I've been wondering whether I could do it now, after BB. Thanks for answering that for me.

I am unaware of when the Pirate Hat Fragment Etc. item came into being, but dropping the level 90 hat is not even a big deal now. It can be easily regained in as little as 22 or fewer PPQ's if you kill a lot (500 kills per PPQ), which is easily accomplished if you party a pair of level 60ish players which is all I find waiting there anyways.

Have they fixed Papulatus yet? I want that massive EXP.

What massive EXP? At best all he gives is about 1.5mil per kill which really isn't much...

I got more EXP from doing Neo-City quests in one run of it all.

How much EXP do the Neo-City quests give? And are they repeatable? It seems that the only way I can level now is by doing quests.

Yeah, but in their defense, most people can do Pap in like 2 minutes now, which beats the Neo-City questline in speed. Of course....is the travel worth it? Probably not, but if you're already in Ludibrium, mind as well make use of Pap.

Im not sure if anyone posted this yet but DW got brandish in 3rd job w/o getting lvl 100. Is this meant to happen and give brave slash on lvl 100?

At level 100 you do the quest for Brandish even though you already have it.
At least that's what happened to me.

I did it before these fragments came into being. And if what you say is true it's another sad testament to maple's going easy-mode.
Back then, it took completing 350 pq's to get the level 90 hat.
And the hat was actually good, if you couldn't get into a zrun.
