Big Bang patch glitches, surprises, features, comments...

Don't know if this was always the case but Dead Scarecrows are heal-killable, and while it's news/surprising to me that's an aside; from the perspective of a 39 cleric it would seem the haunted mansion's not changed. rotting skeletons at level 20 still give 74 exp a kill.

GAHH all my characters are missing 10 SP. 10 SP is kinda importnat on most of my characters >.> Dear god they need to fix this.

Went to Mushroom Castle, used the Thorn Remover, climbed it, killed a couple of penguins. Then I died, I went back, but I get sent to the map with the spiky vines, which means that I can't climb it. And can't move on to the Mushroom Castle.

Just did that myself on my DB. You have to talk to the Secretary of Magic to finish the quest and you should be able to climb it again. At least that's how it worked out for me.

Hmm now that you mentioned, I think your character "freezes" in time if you alt-tab out...

My buddy last night while training at memory monks suddently got a popup which minimized ms for a good 5-10 min, when she got back she was still at full health. Also, if you alt-tab and afk for a while, when you come back, you see all the players moving and flying past you even though everything happened hours before. This leads me to believe that the game doesn't process taking damage while you alt-tab.

I should test this out when i get home...

I recall this was the way things always were back when I could alt-tab without dcing. I suppose it could just be another Vista/7 issue that made it to everyone else though.

However, in regards to health, I'm pretty sure that's new, as I died a couple times thanks to pop-ups a long time ago.

One of the statue pieces for OPQ is missing. The spherical one, in particular. Since two of the stages have been removed, I'm guessing it's somehow related to that.

I went to go fight the nautilus boss (the weird pirate ice animal girl) and I died in her map. I was spawned in an old Henesys map, and I tried to use a town scroll and I DC'd. Now I can't log back in.

That one is worth reporting, pretty obscure and seems like it will affect a good # of unknowing players. Like me since i have a pirate .-.

I can't seem to find any news about it, but has the Ring Event been extended/changed at all since yesterday? It would be pretty ballsy of Nexon to screw over players who couldn't start the event due to their spotty update.

Anyone know a solution to this error -40 that's making it not install? I couldn't patch, so I had to redownload the whole client but I get an error code when I try to install. >_>

I heal mp whle I am alt-tabbed. I play window if that makes any difference though.

On the plus side my client doesn't take up more memory usage over time like it used to. My maple has been opened for 2 hours and it's still the same where before it would probably be taking up 2x more than now.

Seems like touch damage won't knock you off ropes anymore. Haven't tested magic yet.

When you alt-tab in window mode it doesn't actually hide the window, try minimizing ms while in window mode (is it even possible?) and see if your hp/mp still regen

If you enter the FM in Ariant and then exit you end up in NLC
The window for the NPC that lets you exit the Pap map is invisible except for the npc picture and the glow around the options (ok or cancel). When you click OK to leave you dc.
You also can't open key settings in the pap map. Its like its there but its invisible.
