I think I'll join. The Sonic song might take a while though.
I'll record and post tomorrow. Oh and as a reminder, I'm male so don't be too shocked when you hear me.

I guess I'll join too. Will probably record and post on Thursday. I wonder if I'll use my laptop mic for this, or some other one (I only have one other around and I think it's broken.
We should totally have a thread where people only post links to them saying stuff. Totally.

Greg, you should update the first post with all entries of the candidates.
Yes, I cheated and used Audacity instead of this vocaroo thing, but it's not for a serious entry anyway. I went and recorded myself singing You Oughta Know.
<.< Edit: Here's the actual song (also the video that the music in the background of mine is coming from).

Postin' my entry with the song I chose: http://vocaroo.com/?media=vWMgtnkHDaoIny0Gq
(Original: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Do4ktA87qQ) Have fun. I'll make the "Live and Learn" after listening to it a bit, it will be hard since I'm not familiar with it. And you finally get to see me speak something too (in english, portuguese and french!).

Your voice / accent is exactly like a friend of mine's, Shidoshi.
Live and Learn looks pretty complex tho :S Still trying to bring my mic back to life.

Have been listening to "Live and Learn" for about an hour now. Will probably be hearing it in my head for the rest of the day. But I will be able to sing it perfectly, or at least I hope will be able to.

It just starts singing out of the blue so I had to coordinate really well in starting the music and starting singing almost at the same time...

Export > MP3? <_< I had to download some special lame_enc.dll thing, but it worked just fine.

Like Jon said, Google Audacity MP3 Plugin or something, found it by doing so a few months ago.

You just need the dll for LAME. Put it in the same directory as Audacity.
Anyway, I'm going to use Audacity as well...then run it through Vocaroo. That way I can get music along with my singing and not have it sound horrible.
