I lol'd so freaking hard. At least I got 20 resets, which put me at 20413 HP clean. That's good enough for me. Plus I have extra NX laying around for when more stuff shows up that interests me.

No, there was plenty more profit to be made. Read my spoiler on page 3 or 4 for an explanation as to how they could have milked this without looking like sleazebags.

Of course. I'm not stupid to waste NX on SP resets when we're getting the full reset in 1-2 weeks. That's just creep.

You didn't think about the people who were waiting to buy nx to see what the hell they were going to do, like me. Also, if they had the milestone items for sale the whole time, this would encourage more impulse buying, making more profit.

Either way, Nexon is losing out. I've been contemplating buying nx anyways. The $36 for $30 deal with credit cards is pretty good. Either way I'd be saving some money on cubes.

I woke up from my fucking nap racing at 3:59 randomly to get cubes. And by the time I clicked in at 4:00 all ten were gone.

The sales arent over yet; They can make the money back later this weekend. Dont know how it was in other servers, but they DID make money off like 30 or so megaphones with people raging in Scania.

No, it is. Customer confidence is shot. The money spent throughout the weekend is the money that's already charged. They've already gained most of what they could prior to the sale. No one is going to charge knowing they don't stand a chance at getting anything.

At 1.2k nx each, $30 would have gotten me 25 and $36 would have gotten me 30.
At 840 nx, $36 would have gotten me 42.

This. Also, the NX was used SOLELY for cubes, pam's songs and AP resets seeing as they are hot items. With a limited quality of it, people are either going to mass buy them and exhaust their NX or never buy NX until there is another sale like this. Not only that but when it comes to Black Friday sales, there hasn't been an item I can recall that has been on sale TWICE. Though, it is possible it can happen.

Different size bundles perhaps? I remember Nexon putting up AP resets at 5/10/20 pack bundles. What's there to say they won't possibly do it for Cubes and rest of AP resets?

And hypothetically when they release 500 cubes, AP resets, etc. in a few hours? Then their customer confidence will be right back, and they'll go right back to having money charged.

People have short memories, and people are always optimistic and idealistic. It's like how gambling works; The next chance is always a winning chance, and that's where people lose. Why do people continue to gamble? Because they see that slight glimmer of hope. As long as nexon throws something out, they'll jump for it, least that's what I see.

They lost 7/8 of what I planned to charge this weekend.

I charged $5 instead of $40, because yeah... as expected I couldn't even get 1 cube.

If a future sale does release unlimited cubes, I'll charge it up - but 10 cubes - is just LOL. Even 500 - I just wouldn't try.
