inb4 they screw it up even more, but hey. My sisters' and I REALLY hope they actually do this right. DCing every 2-3min due to Vista vs Maple is freaking annoying...

There's nothing wrong with that phrasing. It's not like maple is completely incompatible with newer versions of windows; it can start up and some people can play for a while. So anything else would be an improvement.

Going off the assumption that conditions will improve. We all know how Nexon likes to break things while 'fixing' them.

For Vista, either SP2 or GameGuard->Hackshield caused most of our problems. Both of which came within a month of each other & during that time I did not play MapleStory.

Reasoning for these theorys:
Vista SP2 - Demethos was released November 12th 2008, which I played until early January before taking a break (SP1) and experienced no serious issues while running MapleStory. Returning Late September/Early October 2010 (With SP2) I began experiencing various issues.
HackShield - JMS BigBang Tespia. The first few days of the testing did not use HackShield, until a patch implemented HackShield causing so many issues that comparing the current gms on Vista/W7 results in GMS running perfectly.
